Which wood suits a home sauna?
Nordic spruce is the most common choice for its heat and moisture resistance, low resin and light scent. Thermo-wood gives a darker look with less moisture movement; cedar suits those who like a natural resinous aroma.
How many kW should a sauna heater have?
Allow roughly 1 kW per cubic metre of cabin volume; glass surfaces and uninsulated walls raise the figure. A 9 kW bio heater is typical for a 2.4 × 3 m six-person cabin.
How long does sauna installation take?
The duration depends on the existing infrastructure; cabin assembly in a prepared space is shorter than a from-scratch build including electrics, ventilation and insulation. The duration is given in the written project schedule after the site survey.
