- Which wood suits a home sauna?
- Nordic spruce is the most common choice for its heat and moisture resistance, low resin and light scent. Thermo-wood gives a darker look with less moisture movement; cedar suits those who like a natural resinous aroma.
- How many kW should a sauna heater have?
- Allow roughly 1 kW per cubic metre of cabin volume; glass surfaces and uninsulated walls raise the figure. A 9 kW bio heater is typical for a 2.4 × 3 m six-person cabin.
- How long does sauna installation take?
- Cabin assembly in a prepared space takes 3–5 days; a from-scratch build including electrics, ventilation and insulation takes 2–3 weeks.
