This product is chosen to correct water whose pH or alkalinity has dropped in commercial pools. There are two separate products, and the measured value determines the choice: if pH is below the 7.2-7.6 range, the Powder pH Increaser is needed; if alkalinity has fallen below 125 ppm, the Alkalinity Increaser. Both are in powder form.
