Users and applications
CTX-20 is chosen to raise the pH of pool water that has dropped below 7.2. Low pH causes corrosion of metal parts in the pool and reduces the effect of the disinfectant. The granules bring the value back to the 7.2-7.6 range. The product is suitable for all pool types; the choice depends on the measured pH and the pool volume.

Installation and compatible equipment
CTX-20 needs no installation; application is based on measurement. pH is measured first to confirm that the value is below 7.2. The dose is 150 g per 10 m³ of water and raises pH by 0.2 units. pH is measured again after application; if the target has not been reached, the dose is recalculated according to the pool volume.

Maintenance checkpoints
CTX-20 is a consumable product; replenishment depends on the remaining quantity and the measured pH. The 1 kg pack suits small corrections and the 5 kg pack larger volumes. The pack is kept closed. CTX-20 is not mixed with CTX-10 and is stored in its own pack. The code is read from the label for reordering.

+90 216 475 39 37CTX-20 is used when pH falls below 7.2. The granules raise pH to the 7.2-7.6 range, improve disinfectant efficiency and increase bathing comfort. It is not applied if pH is within this range; above 7.6, CTX-10 is needed. The pH of the water is first measured with a test strip, the dose is set accordingly and the measurement is repeated after application.

150 g of granules is used per 10 m³ of water, and this quantity raises pH by 0.2 units. In larger pools the quantity increases in proportion to the volume, and in a small pool it decreases. pH is measured again after each application; if the target has not been reached, the dose for the remaining increase is recalculated and the application is repeated.

The choice depends on the pool volume and how far pH needs to be raised. The code for the 1 kg pack is 16723, and for the 5 kg pack 74895. The standard pack quantity is 20 for 1 kg and 4 for 5 kg. The 1 kg pack is used for small corrections and the 5 kg pack for large volumes; the contents of both are the same.

No. CTX-20 only raises pH. When alkalinity falls below 125 ppm, the 6 kg Alkalinity Increaser in the AstralPool Powder pH & Alkalinity Increaser range is needed. If both values are low, CTX-20 is chosen for pH and the AstralPool product for alkalinity, separately. The alkalinity value is read with a test strip.

It also improves disinfectant efficiency. pH is measured again after application to check that it is within the target range; if the value drops, the dose is repeated.
