Crystal Clear Filter Media is a glass filter media filled into a sand filter in place of silica sand. It is made from pure glass crystal and comes in a 15 kg bag. There are two grain sizes: 1.0-3.0 mm in the lower layer covers the laterals, and 0.7-1.3 mm in the upper layer does the filtering. A turbidity reduction value of 77.9 per cent is given.
