The Enclosed Transformer IP65 is chosen when the transformer for 12 V AC underwater lights cannot be placed inside a dry panel. Its enclosure is fully protected against dust and protected against water spray. The model is determined by the apparent power (VA) total of the connected lights. The 800 VA model carries a higher load in a single enclosure than the largest 600 VA model of the IP20 transformer family.
