Users and applications
The Hydraulic Safety Valve is fitted to the drain line in installations with an automatic multiport valve on the sand filter. While changing position, or when the power is cut, the automatic valve may remain in the drain position; in that case the safety valve keeps the line closed and the pool water does not go to the drain. For this reason it is recommended for systems with a VRAC automatic valve.
