Users and applications
The PVC Pool Pipe Clamp Set is used to hold PVC pipe in place on its line in pool pipework. The clamp wraps around the pipe and provides a fixing point, so that the line stays in place. The size is chosen to match the diameter of the pipe to be fixed. If the same line has pipes of different diameters, a clamp of the matching size is taken for each diameter.

Installation and compatible equipment
The clamp is chosen in the size that matches the pipe diameter and placed at the point where the pipe is to be held. A clamp of the matching size is used for each diameter. On the pump line, Ø50, Ø63 and Ø75 mm clamps are chosen for D50, D63 and D75 pipes. Which of the eight sizes is needed is determined by measuring the outside diameter of the pipe.

- The point on the line where the clamp will hold the pipe is determined.
- The clamp is fitted to the pipe.

Maintenance checkpoints
A pipe clamp is not a part that needs maintenance; the point to watch over its service life is that the hold stays in place. If the pipe run moves, it is checked that the clamp still wraps around the pipe. A damaged clamp is replaced with a new one of the same size. Each clamp is used with a pipe of its own size.

A Ø63 mm clamp is fitted to a Ø63 mm pipe. If the size differs, the pipe is not held tightly in the clamp and the line does not stay in place.

The outside diameter of the line pipe is checked. A Ø50 mm clamp is chosen for a D50 line, Ø63 mm for a D63 line and Ø75 mm for a D75 line. These three sizes correspond to the connection diameters of the Sena and Verdon ES pumps. The largest size in the set is Ø160 mm.

Both are used in the same pipework; one determines where the pipe sits, the other whether the flow is open or closed.

The clamp is made of PVC and is of the pipe clip type. All eight sizes are made of the same material; as the size increases, the clamp only grows in dimensions and its material does not change. The choice is made not by material but by the outside diameter of the pipe. A Ø50 mm clamp is taken for a Ø50 mm pipe, a Ø160 mm clamp for a Ø160 mm pipe.

The largest size in this set is Ø160 mm. For pipes with a larger diameter the set is not sufficient and a separate size is needed. At the small end the lowest size is Ø50 mm; pipes thinner than Ø50 mm do not fit the clamps in this set. For this reason, size information for large diameters is confirmed in advance.
