The Hydraulic Safety Valve is a safety valve fitted to the drain line of an automatic multiport valve to prevent pool water from draining unintentionally. Its two models have a Ø50 mm solvent weld and a 1½ inch BSP thread connection; it weighs 1.8 kg. It keeps the drain line closed when the power is cut or while the valve is changing position.
