The LumiPlus Flexi Plug&Play RGB Projector is a pool light whose lamp and white frame come under a single code and which changes colour by remote control. Çilek Havuz supplies Flexi Plug&Play Projector through quotes and as part of its projects. The lamp delivers 2,000 lm at 34.5 W and draws 45 VA. FlexiNiche fits a niche, FlexiSlim mounts on the surface and FlexiRapid fits a 1½ inch nozzle. Each mounting type is available with or without a remote control; there are 6 models in total.

Users and applications
The projector is chosen by those who want to add coloured light to the pool as a single unit. The lamp and white frame come under the same code, so no separate fixing part is needed. The main decision is the mounting type: FlexiNiche for a pool with a niche, FlexiSlim for a surface without a niche and FlexiRapid for a pool with a 1½ inch nozzle. If the pool has no Plug&Play remote control, a model with a remote is chosen.

// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
The projector is fitted into a niche, onto the pool surface or into a nozzle according to the chosen mounting type. No additional control part is needed in the electrical panel; the colour is selected with the Plug&Play remote control. Power is supplied via the Pool Lighting Transformer, which carries the total apparent power of the connected lamps. The cable joint is made inside the Pool Lighting Junction Box.
- The power to the pool lighting circuit is switched off at the panel.
- The seat suited to the mounting type is checked: niche, surface or nozzle.
- The projector cable is joined to the lighting line in the junction box.
- The projector is placed in its seat, the circuit is switched on and the colour is selected with the remote control.
- The transformer is checked to carry the total load of 45 VA per projector.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
The white frame and coloured lens are wiped with a soft cloth during pool cleaning. If the projector does not respond to the remote control, the remote control is checked first. If the light does not come on at all, the transformer output and the junction box are checked. When a new projector is added to the line, the total VA load of the transformer is recalculated.

FlexiNiche Plug&Play is used in a pool with a niche of 180-230 mm inner diameter, and FlexiSlim Plug&Play on a surface without a niche. If the wall has a 1½ inch female threaded nozzle, FlexiRapid Plug&Play is fitted. The three models share the same lamp, and each is available with or without a remote control.

If a white frame is sufficient, the projector is bought; the lamp, fixing part and frame come under a single code. The LumiPlus Flexi Plug&Play Lamp is the lamp only and is fitted together with the LumiPlus Flexi Fixing System and Frame. If a beige, grey, anthracite or stainless steel frame is wanted, the lamp and fixing system are chosen separately.

If the pool has no Plug&Play remote control, a model with a remote is bought. The models with a remote come with the Plug&Play remote control coded 74399: 76583M, 76585M and 76587M. The models without a remote, 76582M, 76584M and 76586M, are chosen to add a second projector to a pool that already has a remote control. The lamp and light values are the same in both options.

Each Flexi Plug&Play projector runs at 34.5 W and draws 45 VA of apparent power from the transformer. The Pool Lighting Transformer is chosen to be greater than the VA total of the connected projectors. For example, two projectors come to 90 VA and a 100 VA transformer is sufficient; with three projectors the total exceeds 100 VA and a 300 VA transformer is chosen.

FlexiNiche Plug&Play fits niches with an inner diameter between 180 and 230 mm. The projector is placed in the niche and its cable is joined inside the Pool Lighting Junction Box. In a pool without a niche, FlexiSlim Plug&Play is chosen; this model is surface mounted in a new pool or fitted onto existing AstralPool surface mounting parts.

All six models of the projector come with a white frame; there is no other colour option. If a different frame is wanted, the LumiPlus Flexi Plug&Play Lamp and the LumiPlus Flexi Fixing System and Frame are bought together. This system offers beige, grey and anthracite frames. Stainless steel options are also available for FlexiNiche.

No additional control part is needed in the electrical panel. The Flexi Plug&Play projector is connected to the pool lighting line and the Pool Lighting Transformer. Colour selection is made with the Plug&Play remote control coded 74399. If control from a central control unit is wanted, the LumiPlus Flexi Connect Lamp and the LumiPlus Connect Pool Lighting Control Unit are chosen together.
