// 02 · Use
Users and applications
The ice cabin is chosen by those who want a room set aside for cooling the body after it has warmed up in the sauna or spa area. The series determines the finish colour and the ice fountain type: Asana and Hara have a ceiling-type fountain, Bandha and Cala a wall-type fountain. The size is chosen by the space available, and the height is 220 cm.
- Those who want to set aside a cold room in a sauna or spa area
- Those looking for an Asana, Bandha or Hara size starting from 250 x 200 cm
- Those looking for a small 200 x 200 cm footprint with Cala
- Those who want to choose the finish colour through the series
// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
The ice cabin is installed as a prefabricated module: the aluminium structure, dual-density polystyrene wall modules, glass and finishes come together. Once the series and size are chosen, it is placed in the space. The ice wall is cooled by a gas cooling coil and formed by spraying water. The ice machine kit is sold separately from the cabin.
- The series and size are chosen according to the space available.
- The cabin modules are placed in the space on the aluminium structure.
- The gas cooling coil and water spray system for the ice wall are commissioned.
- The ice fountain and ice tray are positioned where the series type requires.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
In an ice cabin, moisture and limescale build up mostly on the glass, the porcelain surfaces and the ice reservoir; maintenance is there to prevent this. Surfaces are cleaned after each use, while the reservoir, fountain and joints are checked at regular intervals.
- The glass door and front are wiped so that no limescale is left.
- The porcelain seating and wall surfaces are cleaned with a damp cloth.
- The ice tray and fountain are checked regularly.
- Standing water at the cabin joints is monitored.
