The Zodiac NL LED Nicheless Pool Light is a 12 V AC LED pool light that fits without a niche into a 1 1/2" nozzle in the pool wall. Çilek Havuz supplies Zodiac NL LED Nicheless Pool Light through quotes and as part of its projects. Six models are arranged in 6 W, 12 W and 24 W power steps. Each step has a coloured RGBW model and a BW model that gives white light only. All models come with a 3 m cable.

Users and applications
Zodiac NL LED is chosen for underwater lighting in pools that have no niche in the wall. The light sits in a 1 1/2" nozzle in the pool wall and needs no separate niche. If coloured light is wanted, an RGBW model is chosen; for plain white light, a BW model. The power step is set at 6 W, 12 W or 24 W according to the pool surface. For control from the app, the line is connected to the Command Connect control panel.

Installation and compatible equipment
Zodiac NL LED fits into a 1 1/2" nozzle in the pool wall and does not need a niche. The light runs on 12 V AC and comes with a 3 m cable. The mains voltage is reduced from 230 V AC to 12 V AC by the Pool Lighting Transformer. If control from the app is wanted, the line is connected to the Command Connect control panel. The transformer rating is chosen according to the total load of the connected lights.
- The nozzle in the pool wall is checked to be 1 1/2" in size.
- The NL model is chosen according to light colour and power step.
- The light is fitted into the nozzle.
- The cable is connected to the 12 V AC output of the transformer.
- For control from the app, the line is set up via the Command Connect control panel.

Maintenance checkpoints
Zodiac NL LED needs a few points to be reviewed during use. The surface of the front lens is cleaned together with the pool wall. The part where the light sits in the nozzle and the cable outlet are checked. The transformer supply is switched off before the 12 V AC connection is inspected. On RGBW models, the light colour and scene setting are checked from the Command Connect control panel.

The choice depends on the size of the pool surface and the light intensity wanted. Six models are arranged in 6 W, 12 W and 24 W power steps. Each step has one RGBW and one white model. Lower power is preferred for small surfaces and higher power for large surfaces. All models run on 12 V AC.

RGBW models give coloured and white light, while BW models give white light only. The RGBW model codes are WT000233, WT000234 and WT000235. The BW model codes are WT000236, WT000237 and WT000238. Power steps, 12 V AC supply, 3 m cable and nozzle fitting are the same in both groups.

The Pool Lighting Transformer is needed, as NL LED lights run on 12 V AC. The transformer reduces the 230 V AC mains voltage to 12 V AC. The models on our site are rated at 100, 130, 300 and 600 VA. The transformer rating is chosen to be greater than the total load of all the lights connected to it.

Yes, when it is connected to the Command Connect control panel, it is controlled through the app. On RGBW models, coloured light and scene selection are made through this connection. BW models give white light only. The control panel is planned together with the 12 V AC line of the lights. Without a control panel connection, control through the app is not possible.

Both lights fit into a 1 1/2" nozzle and run on 12 V AC; the difference lies in the light options and the control route. Zodiac NL comes in 6, 12 and 24 W RGBW or white models. NL models are controlled from the app via the Command Connect control panel. Essential Rapid offers white, warm white and RGB options. Its RGB models include an option with the RC1100 remote control.

Each Zodiac NL LED light comes with a 3 m cable. The cable is connected to the 12 V AC line coming from the transformer. The cable length is the same on all six models. The 3 m cable length of the light is taken into account when the line is planned. The transformer supply is switched off before the connection work begins.
