The LumiPlus Essential Flat Projector is an LED pool projector mounted on the surface of the pool wall without the need for a niche. Çilek Havuz supplies Essential Flat through quotes and as part of its projects. The mounting parts are supplied with the projector, and it is used in concrete and fibreglass pools. The white model delivers 1485 lm at 14.5 W, RGB models 1100 lm at 22 W. The power supply is 12 V AC and the connection cable is 2.5 m.

Users and applications
Intended for concrete and fibreglass pools with no niche in the wall, or where cutting a niche is not wanted. As the projector is mounted on the wall surface, intervention in the pool structure is minor. White is chosen for the swimming area, RGB for a pool where colour and effects are wanted, and the RGB RC1100 model with remote control for a pool where the colour programme is managed by remote.

Installation and compatible equipment
The projector is fixed to the surface of the pool wall with the mounting parts supplied; no niche is needed. The 2.5 m cable supplied with the product is joined to the line inside the Pool Lighting Junction Box. As the supply is 12 V AC, the line is installed via the Pool Lighting Transformer, and the transformer is chosen by the total VA of the connected projectors.
- The pool lighting circuit is isolated at the panel.
- The mounting parts are fixed to the wall surface and the cable passage is prepared.
- The 2.5 m projector cable is joined to the line in the junction box.
- The projector is seated on the mounting part and the transformer load is checked.

Maintenance checkpoints
As the projector sits on the wall surface, the body and lens are wiped during pool cleaning. The tightness of the mounting parts and the sealing of the cable passage are checked. On RGB models, the colour programme can be reselected with the push button or the RC1100 remote control. The joints in the junction box remain watertight.

As a result, lighting is added to a concrete or fibreglass pool without a niche without cutting one. The cable passage and junction box are prepared separately, and the power supply is 12 V AC.

The mounting parts supplied with the projector are for concrete and fibreglass pools; these parts are not specified for liner pools. In a liner-lined pool, the LumiPlus PAR56 Complete Projector Kit, supplied boxed with its niche and cable hose, is chosen. The liner kit is available in white, RGB and RGB RC1100 options.

The difference is the mounting location. Essential Flat is mounted on the wall surface, while the LumiPlus Essential Rapid Projector fits a 1½ inch female threaded nozzle in a concrete pool. If there is an existing 230 mm PAR56 niche, LumiPlus Essential PAR56 is chosen. All three have the same light values: 14.5 W and 1485 lm in white, 22 W and 1100 lm in RGB.

The RGB RC1100 model is chosen if colour and effects are to be managed with a remote control; the remote is included in the box. On the plain RGB model, the colour programme is changed with the push button or with the RC1100 remote via the Range Extender. Both RGB models deliver 1100 lm at 22 W, draw 29 VA apparent power and are energy class G.

The transformer is chosen by the total apparent power of the connected projectors: the white model draws 20 VA, RGB models 29 VA. The Pool Lighting Transformer comes in 100 VA, 130 VA, 300 VA and 600 VA models. The cable between the transformer and the projector does not exceed 40 m, and joints are made in the junction box.

The three Essential Flat models listed have a white frame. If the frame colour is to be chosen to match the lining, the LumiPlus Essential PAR56 models with beige, grey and anthracite frames are the ones to consider; these models need a 230 mm PAR56 niche. On a concrete or fibreglass wall without a niche, the white-framed Essential Flat is used.

If light output is the priority, the white model is chosen; if colour is the priority, the RGB model. The white model delivers 1485 lm at 14.5 W and is energy class E. RGB models deliver 1100 lm at 22 W and are class G. The white model draws 20 VA, RGB models 29 VA; the transformer is chosen for this load.
