All six models draw 32 W and run on 12 V AC. White and warm white models deliver 4,320 lm, RGB models 2,500 lm. The frame is white or stainless steel effect.

Users and applications
The projector is used in concrete and liner pools with a 180 mm niche. White and warm white models deliver 4,320 lm at 32 W, so a large swimming area can be lit with few projectors. It does not fit a PAR56 installation with a 230 mm niche. The selection comes down to three decisions: light colour, frame finish and, for the RGB model, the control method. All six models have the same power and niche.

// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
The projector sits in a 180 mm niche; the niche is chosen by pool type for concrete, liner with gasket or liner without gasket, and is set into the wall during construction. As the supply is 12 V AC, the line is installed via the Pool Lighting Transformer. The cable joint is made inside the Pool Lighting Junction Box. If an extension cable is needed, the Pool Lighting Cable and Connection Kit is used.
- The niche is checked to confirm it is 180 mm and firmly fixed in the wall.
- The 2.5 m cable supplied with the product is joined to the line in the junction box.
- The projector is placed in the niche and the frame is secured.
- The transformer rating is chosen from the total VA of the connected projectors.
- On the RGB model, the control unit or push button is connected to the line.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Routine work consists of wiping the frame and glass during pool cleaning. The stainless steel effect frame is cleaned with a non-abrasive cloth. When the projector is removed from the niche, the gasket is replaced and the cable entry is checked for traces of water. If the light weakens, the transformer output and the connection points are checked first.

The same niche also houses the Flexi lamps with the LumiPlus Flexi Fixing System and Frame. For a PAR56 installation with a 230 mm niche, LumiPlus Essential PAR56 is chosen.

LumiPlus Design delivers more light and fits a different niche. Design fits a 180 mm niche and delivers 4,320 lm in white at 32 W. LumiPlus Essential PAR56 fits a 230 mm niche and delivers 1485 lm at 14.5 W. Design is chosen for a newly built pool with a 180 mm niche, Essential PAR56 for replacing a halogen PAR56 lamp.

The transformer is chosen from the total apparent power of the connected projectors. LumiPlus Design draws 35 VA in the white and warm white models and 42 VA in the RGB model. The Pool Lighting Transformer is available in 100, 130, 300 and 600 VA. The cable between the transformer and the projector does not exceed 40 m.

White light has a colour temperature of 5700 K, warm white light 3000 K. Both tones deliver 4,320 lm at 32 W, draw 35 VA and are energy class D. The tone has no effect on the amount of light. The choice depends on the tone of the other lighting around the pool; both tones are available with a white or a stainless steel effect frame.

The colour of the RGB model is changed from a phone with the LumiPlus Connect Pool Lighting Control Unit or with the RGB push button. The control unit is a separate product and is not supplied with the projector. RGB models deliver 2,500 lm, draw 42 VA apparent power and are energy class F. White and warm white models have no colour control.

The frame is chosen by the look of the pool wall; the light values do not change. A white frame blends into the wall on a light-coloured lining. A stainless steel effect frame appears as a metal ring on the wall. White, warm white and RGB light are available with both frames; the six models are the combinations of these three tones and two frames.

The LumiPlus Design projector is supplied with a 2.5 m cable and has IP68 protection. Cable length and protection class are the same on all six models. The cable joint is made inside the Pool Lighting Junction Box. If the line is extended, the Pool Lighting Cable and Connection Kit is used; the total line from the transformer to the projector does not exceed 40 m.
