Inmotile Regular Porcelain Pool Coping is a bullnose pool edge stone laid along the top edge of the pool shell, giving swimmers a nosing to hold on to. Çilek Havuz supplies Inmotile Regular Porcelain Pool Edge Grip Tile through quotes and as part of its projects. The series comes in three sizes: 250 x 125 x 20 mm, 250 x 250 x 20 mm and 250 x 300 x 20 mm. Each size is selected with one of seven nosing codes. The material is porcelain, with a matt and gloss surface.

Users and applications

Inmotile Regular coping is chosen to finish the top edge of the pool shell and to give swimmers a nosing to hold on to. The nosing faces the water and the body extends over the edge paving. The size is set by the width of the flat surface that will remain on the edge: PT2512 is used on a narrow edge, PT2525 or PT2530 on a wide edge. The nosing code is chosen according to the edge colour wanted for the pool.

// 03 · Installation and compatibility

Installation and compatible equipment

The coping pieces are laid side by side along the edge of the shell with the nosing facing into the pool. Each piece is 250 mm long; the number of pieces is found by dividing the edge length by this dimension. Orders are placed by the number of cartons for each size: PT2512, PT2525 and PT2530 cartons hold 10 pieces, while the PT2525 with the P suffix holds 8 pieces per carton. The same nosing code is kept for the whole edge.

  1. The total length of the pool edge is measured.
  2. The length is divided by 250 mm to find the number of pieces.
  3. The quantity is rounded up to the carton content of the selected size.
  4. The coping pieces are laid along the edge with the nosing facing the pool.

// 04 · Maintenance

Maintenance checkpoints

On the porcelain body, dirt and limescale build up mostly at the waterline. The nosing and body are wiped with a soft brush and a cleaner suitable for pool water. If gaps or cracks appear in the joints, the affected section is refilled. A broken piece is replaced with a new one of the same size and nosing code.

Inmotile Regular coping comes in three sizes: 250 x 125 x 20 mm, 250 x 250 x 20 mm and 250 x 300 x 20 mm. These sizes carry the codes PT2512, PT2525 and PT2530 respectively. The PT2525 size also has a separate version with the P suffix. The length is 250 mm in every series.

The letters at the end of the code indicate the colour and shape of the nosing. Each size has seven codes: KB, KBO, SR, MV, SY, TR and KH. In the catalogue images the nosing is navy, light blue, dark turquoise, brown and black; with the SR code the piece is cream from end to end.

Both versions measure 250 x 250 mm; the difference lies in weight and packaging. A PT2525 piece weighs 1.98 kg and a carton holds 10 pieces. A piece of the P version weighs 2.3 kg, with 8 pieces per carton. Both come as 50 cartons per pallet; the pallet weights are 990 kg and 925 kg.

PT2512, PT2525 and PT2530 cartons contain 10 coping pieces. The PT2525 with the P suffix has 8 pieces per carton. Carton weight is 9.4 kg for PT2512, 19.8 kg for PT2525 and 25.5 kg for PT2530. A pallet takes 100 cartons of PT2512 and 50 cartons of each of the other series.

One metre of edge needs 4 coping pieces. The piece length is 250 mm in every Inmotile Regular series. The total quantity is found by multiplying the edge length in metres by 4. A few pieces are added to allow for cutting and breakage, and the result is rounded up to whole cartons.

The coping is laid on the top edge of the shell, while the tile is laid on the inner surface of the pool. Inmotile Regular coping is 20 mm thick and has a nosing; it forms the edge swimmers hold on to. The Porcelain Pool Tile measures 12.5 x 25 cm and is 8 mm thick. The two products cover different surfaces in the same pool.

The coping is made of porcelain and comes with a matt or gloss surface. The top face of the body is finely grooved and the underside has channels. Depending on the code, the nosing differs in colour from the body; codes with navy, light blue, dark turquoise, brown and black nosings are available. With the SR code the piece is a single colour throughout.
