SkyPool Commercial Pool Panel Systems are galvanised steel panel systems that form the walls of commercial and competition pools. Çilek Havuz supplies SkyPool Commercial through quotes and as part of its projects. There are four panel types: Barcelona, CAR, Melbourne and Renovation. The panels are 1.0 m wide, and the height of the main panels ranges from 0.8 to 5.0 m. The panels are made of S235JR steel and finished with hot-dip galvanising. Waterproofing is provided by a reinforced PVC-P liner.

Users and applications
SkyPool Commercial is chosen as the pool wall for commercial and competition pools whose dimensions are set by the project. The panel type is determined by depth: Barcelona is used up to 2.2 m, Melbourne up to 3.5 m and CAR up to 5.0 m. Melbourne is installed with an external deck or walkway platform structure. Renovation panels are used to renew the overflow channel and wall of an existing pool.

// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
SkyPool panels are installed on site and fixed to the pool floor with chemical anchors. Barcelona is self-supporting and fixed only at the base; its tie rods are M16, M20 or M24. CAR panels are fixed at the top and bottom with a metal lattice frame. The Melbourne frame is anchored to the base plate. Levelling is carried out with a 30 mm chemical anchor system.
- The panel type and heights are set in the project according to the pool depth.
- The panels are lined up side by side as 1.0 m wide modules.
- The panels are fixed to the floor with chemical type anchors, using class 8.8 screws at the connections.
- Levelling is carried out with the chemical anchor system.
- The reinforced PVC-P liner is laid and porcelain ceramic coping stones are placed along the edge.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Over the service life of a galvanised steel panel, maintenance rests on keeping the waterproofing and connection points sound. The liner surface is visually checked for tears and separation. The seating of the ceramics on the edge and in the overflow channel is monitored. The back of the panels, the anchors and the tie rods are also inspection points.
- The liner surface and seams are checked visually.
- The overflow channel and edge ceramics are kept clean and clear.
- The galvanised coating on the back of the panels is checked for damage.
- Anchor and tie rod connections are checked for loosening.

Panel weight ranges from 32 kg to 1545 kg depending on type and height. Barcelona panels weigh 56-113 kg and CAR panels 245-500 kg. Melbourne panels weigh 1255-1545 kg. Renovation panels weigh between 32 and 55 kg. Transport and installation are planned according to these weights.

The panels are made of S235JR structural steel and finished with hot-dip galvanising. The coating is applied by the hot-dip method and protects the steel panel against corrosion. The inner face of the panel is covered with liner. A stainless steel option is also available for the Barcelona panel. Panel width is 1.0 m for all types; height varies by panel type.

Waterproofing is provided by a strengthened liner made from 150/100 reinforced PVC-P. The liner covers the inner face of the panels and the pool floor. Colour options are White, Adriatic Blue, Light Grey and Persian Blue. Porcelain ceramic coping stones are used on the edge and non-slip ceramic tiling in the overflow channel.

Renovation panels are used to renew the overflow channel of an existing pool, or the overflow channel together with the wall. There are four types: overflow channel with and without ceramics, and overflow channel and wall with and without ceramics. Channel panels are 0.44 m high and the wall types 1.2 m. All are fixed with chemical type M12 anchors.

SkyPool is assembled on site from panels, whereas Inoxpool arrives as a one-piece shell. With SkyPool, depth goes up to 5.0 m and the pool dimensions are set by the project. Inoxpool is made of 2 mm AISI-316L stainless steel, has a depth of 1.2 m and comes in 7 standard models. SkyPool is chosen for large and deep pools.

Yes, the system also includes special panels. A recessed ladder panel, a window panel and a swimmer rest panel with footrest at 1.2 m depth can be selected. Inclined panels, a pre-clad panel, and round and semicircular panels are also produced. The pool form and internal fittings are built with these panels according to the project.
