// 02 · Use
Users and applications
The door is a glass door that closes the entrance of a sauna or steam room. The first question in the selection is the frame: the wooden-framed door comes in pine or alder, and the aluminium-framed door is used in saunas and steam rooms. The second question is the glass: bronze, clear or decorative bronze. As the depth is 6 cm on all six models, the frame and wall are prepared to this dimension.
- Pine or alder-framed door for a sauna entrance
- Aluminium-framed door for saunas and steam rooms
- Choice of bronze or clear glass
- Aluminium door with decorative bronze glass
- Wall and frame prepared to the 6 cm depth
// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
The door is fitted into the door opening of the cabin; the opening is prepared to the 6 cm depth. For other glass colours, the price is quoted separately. Wooden-framed doors are for saunas. A door to be fitted to a steam room is chosen from the aluminium-framed models. The cabin timber is in the Sauna Timber & Water Drain Bucket product and is chosen to match the door frame.
- The space is determined: a wooden frame for a sauna only, an aluminium frame if there will also be a steam room.
- The frame material and glass colour are chosen.
- The door opening is prepared to the 6 cm depth.
- The door is fitted into the opening, and its opening and closing are checked.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
The sauna door meets hot, humid air with every use; maintenance keeps the glass clean, the frame dry and the fittings secure. The glass and frame are dealt with after use, the hinges and handle are checked at regular intervals, and an aluminium frame is cleaned with a soft cloth.
- The glass surface is wiped with a damp cloth and dried.
- The wooden frame is left to dry after use.
- The hinge and handle fixings are checked.
- If a crack is seen in the glass or frame, the door is replaced.

+90 216 475 39 37The space determines the choice. Wooden doors with pine and alder frames are for saunas. Aluminium-framed doors are used in both saunas and steam rooms. If a steam room is also planned, an aluminium frame is chosen. For a sauna only, a wooden frame is sufficient; if wood is chosen, the next decision is pine or alder and the glass colour.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
Both are wooden frames; the difference is the wood species and the glass type. The pine-framed door comes with a bronze or clear glass option. The alder-framed door is offered with clear glass only. The codes of the pine models are D71901M and D71904M, and the code of the alder model is D71904L. For other details, the frame and glass are chosen together.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
The difference is the glass colour. Bronze glass has a dark tint, while clear glass looks transparent. Bronze and clear glass can be chosen on pine and aluminium-framed doors; the alder frame has clear glass only. The aluminium models also have a higher option with decorative bronze glass. For other glass colours, a separate enquiry is made.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
The aluminium-framed models can be used. The three aluminium doors with codes DA71901, DA71904 and DA71901L are suitable for both saunas and steam rooms. Wooden-framed doors are for saunas. When choosing a door for a steam room, the frame material is therefore the first decision; the decorative option is also on the aluminium frame.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
The depth is 6 cm on all models. This dimension is the same on all six doors with wooden and aluminium frames. The door frame and wall passage are prepared to the 6 cm depth. The door width and height are confirmed against the dimensions of the cabin door opening before ordering and compared with the opening.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
The model with decorative bronze glass is the aluminium-framed door with code DA71901L. It is used for saunas and steam rooms and is the higher option of the six models. On the same frame, clear glass comes under code DA71904 and bronze glass under code DA71901. The door with decorative glass is sold only with an aluminium frame, not with a wooden frame.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
The door is chosen to match the wooden cladding of the sauna cabin. The cabin timber is in the Sauna Timber & Water Drain Bucket product as panelling and bench slats. The lamp, thermometer and ventilation cover fitted in the cabin are bought from the Sauna Accessory Set product. The door itself is sold as a single unit.
