Blue Line Pool Leaf Nets are a family of manual leaf nets that attach to a pole for collecting leaves and coarse debris from the pool by hand. Users and applications
Blue Line leaf nets are used to remove leaves and coarse debris from the pool water before they reach the filter. Surface nets collect leaves on the water surface; deep nets collect leaves within the water and on the floor. Which of the four models is chosen depends on where the leaves collect and on the handle material. The net is fitted to the telescopic pole and used from the edge.

Installation and compatible equipment
The clip-on net is fitted to the end of the pole with the clip, and its seating is checked. Poles are available in the Blue Line Poles and Accessories product as adjustable aluminium poles of 1.8-3.6 m and 2.4-4.8 m. Blue Line Pool Vacuum Heads are used for fine sediment that the net cannot collect.

- The surface net is moved across the water surface, the deep net through the water.
- Collected leaves are emptied outside the pool.

Maintenance checkpoints
The net is rinsed with clean water after each use, and leaves and sand left in the mesh are removed. The mesh is checked for tears and for correct seating in the frame. If the clip connection has loosened, it is reseated on the pole. The net is stored in a dry place without rubbing against the pool edge.

The surface net collects leaves on the water surface; the deep net is dipped into the water and collects leaves within it and on the floor. The plastic surface net and the surface leaf net with aluminium handle are for the surface. The plastic deep net and the deep net with aluminium handle are for deep water.

The clip-on nets clip onto the Blue Line telescopic pole. The Blue Line Poles and Accessories product includes adjustable aluminium poles of 1.8-3.6 m and 2.4-4.8 m. The pole length is chosen to reach the farthest point of the pool from the edge. A 1.8-3.6 m pole is sufficient for a small pool, a 2.4-4.8 m pole for a wide pool.

The difference lies in the model description. The plastic surface net (69665) and plastic deep net (69666) are listed as plastic, and the deep net with aluminium handle (69667) and surface leaf net (69671) as having an aluminium handle. The first three models fit the pole with a clip connection; the name of the fourth does not mention a clip.

Blue Line offers four leaf net models: surface, deep and two options with an aluminium handle. Shark Series Cleaning Equipment brings two clip-on nets, flat and deep, together with the vacuum head, brush and pole in the same series. If a net with an aluminium handle is wanted, Blue Line is the range to look at.

Fine sediment is removed with a vacuum head. The net collects leaves and coarse debris; the vacuum head sends sediment from the floor to the filtration line through the hose. Leaves are removed with the net first, then the floor is vacuumed with Blue Line Pool Vacuum Heads. If leaves are removed before they settle, there is less to vacuum and the vacuuming pass is shorter.

All four Blue Line leaf nets come in cartons of 12. The manufacturer codes are 69665, 69666, 69667 and 69671. When ordering a single net or a full carton, the model name and manufacturer code are given together. If different types are needed for the same pool, surface and deep nets can be ordered together.
