Classic Public Pool Equipment is a family of poles and vacuum heads used in public pools for vacuuming and reaching distant points. Çilek Havuz supplies Classic Public Pool through quotes and as part of its projects. The family consists of 12 products: an 800 mm pull-type and a 450 mm arm-type vacuum head, two aluminium and four reinforced telescopic poles, thermometers and two hose adaptors. Pole lengths range from 1.8-3.6 m to 6.5-13 m.

Users and applications
This equipment is chosen in public pools for reaching distant points from the edge and vacuuming large floor areas. One of the vacuum heads is 800 mm wide. Pole lengths from 1.8 m to 13 m are available in six ranges, and the length is chosen by the farthest point from the edge. The thermometers cover water temperature, and the adaptors complete the hose connection.

Installation and compatible equipment
The pole is fitted into the socket of the vacuum head or cleaning equipment and extended to the required length. The hose adaptor connects to the end of a Ø38 mm hose as a male threaded or push-fit type. The hose is chosen from the Floating Pool Hose and Accessories products, and the equipment for the pole from the Classic Vacuum Head, Brush and Leaf Net Set products.
- The pole length is chosen by the farthest point from the edge.
- The vacuum head or equipment is fitted to the end of the pole.
- The hose adaptor is connected to the Ø38 mm hose as male threaded or push-fit.
- The pole is locked and the equipment is lowered into the pool.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Poles and vacuum heads are rinsed with clean water after each use. If sand and dirt build up in the telescopic sections, the pole is opened and cleaned. Dirt left in the bristles of the pull-type vacuum head and on the body of the arm-type vacuum head is removed. The threads and push-fit surfaces of the hose adaptors are checked, and the thermometers are washed with clean water.

The reinforced poles are available in 2.5-5 m, 3.75-7.5 m, 5-10 m and 6.5-13 m ranges. As the pool gets wider, the next range up is chosen; a short pole does not reach a distant point.

Reinforced poles cover longer lengths: they extend from 2.5-5 m to 6.5-13 m. Aluminium telescopic poles are limited to 1.8-3.6 m and 2.4-4.8 m. Weight also increases: the 3.75-7.5 m pole weighs 4.7 kg, the 5-10 m pole 5.54 kg and the 6.5-13 m pole 7.45 kg.

The pull-type vacuum head is 800 mm wide and weighs 12 kg. The cast arm-type vacuum head is 450 mm wide, has a connection between 1½" and 2" and weighs 3 kg. Their codes are 01357 and 01358. In a public pool, the working width and weight are chosen on the basis of these two values.

The 5 m Aluminium Telescopic Pool Pole is a single product, with a 2.5-5 m range and a weight of 3.2 kg. Classic public pool equipment offers the same pole within a 12-product family that also includes vacuum heads, longer poles, thermometers and adaptors. If only a 2.5-5 m pole is needed, the single product is the one to look at.

The tabletop thermometer stand set contains 24 thermometers: 6 each of the duck, dolphin, frog and whale models. The thermometers read in Celsius and Fahrenheit. The set weighs 1.6 kg. If a single thermometer is needed, the floating thermometer in the same family is chosen; it also shows both scales.

The adaptor fits a Ø38 mm hose and comes in two types: 1½" male threaded and 1½" push-fit. Ø38 mm hoses are available in the Floating Pool Hose and Accessories product in lengths between 8 and 30 m. This adaptor does not fit a Ø50 mm hose; that hose needs its own adaptor.

The Classic Vacuum Head, Brush and Leaf Net Set includes 350 and 450 mm aluminium vacuum heads, bristle brushes and four leaf nets. The public pool equipment provides the 800 mm pull-type vacuum head, poles up to 13 m, thermometers and adaptors.
