Çilek Havuz supplies Floating Hose through quotes and as part of its projects. The Ø38 mm hose is available in 8, 10, 12, 15 and 30 m lengths, the Ø50 mm hose in 30 m. Models with and without adaptors, Ø38 and Ø50 mm hose adaptors and a hose reel belong to the same family.

Users and applications
The floating pool hose is chosen for pools where the floor is cleaned with a manual vacuum head. The hose floats in the water between the vacuum head and the vacuum inlet of the pool. The length is determined by the distance from the vacuum inlet to the furthest corner of the pool. The diameter is chosen as Ø38 mm or Ø50 mm according to the connection of the vacuum head and the vacuum inlet.

Installation and compatible equipment
Hoses with adaptors work with the adaptor fitted at their ends; hoses without adaptors are fitted separately with the adaptor matching their code. One end of the hose connects to the vacuum head and the other to the vacuum inlet of the pool. The hose is laid out straight, floating in the water. The length is chosen to reach the furthest corner from the vacuum inlet, and the hose is laid without kinks.

Maintenance checkpoints
After use, the floating hose is taken out of the water, rinsed with clean water and dried. The hose reel allows the hose to be stored without tangling. The adaptor connections and hose body are checked for cracks, dents and leaks. A damaged adaptor is replaced with one matching the hose code.

The Ø38 mm hose comes in 8, 10, 12, 15 and 30 m lengths; the Ø50 mm hose is 30 m only. Models with adaptors are 8, 10, 12 and 15 m long. For the 30 m options, the diameter is chosen as Ø38 mm or Ø50 mm.

The difference is in diameter, length options and weight. The Ø38 mm (1½ inch) hose is available in five lengths between 8 and 30 m. The Ø50 mm (2 inch) hose is 30 m only. The Ø50 mm 30 m hose weighs between 10.5 and 12.5 kg, the Ø38 mm 30 m hose between 8.5 and 9.5 kg.

Models with adaptors have an adaptor at the end; models without adaptors have one fitted separately. Hoses with adaptors are Ø38 mm and 8, 10, 12 and 15 m long. Models without adaptors are Ø38 mm 30 m and Ø50 mm 30 m plain hoses. For these hoses, the adaptor matching the code is bought as a separate item.

The adaptor is chosen according to the hose code. The 01385 adaptor fits the Ø38 mm 01372 hose, and the 01386 adaptor the Ø50 mm 01373 hose. The white 01387 adaptor fits the Ø38 mm hoses from 01374 to 01378, and the white 01388 adaptor the Ø50 mm 01379 hose. The blue 07958 adaptor fits vacuum inlets only.

The hose reel is for winding and storing the floating hose without tangling. The reel is offered as a single model; its code is 66042 and it weighs 2.4 kg. Long hoses such as 30 m are wound onto the reel after use and are not left lying around the poolside. The wound hose is stored on the reel until the next use.

The Serenit hose is 7.624 and 11 m long and is a cut-to-length type. In this family, the Ø38 mm hose is 8-30 m and the Ø50 mm hose 30 m long; there are models with and without adaptors and a hose reel. The hose is used with manual vacuum heads that connect to the vacuum inlet. Among the Blue Line Pool Vacuums, the Aluminium Flat and L=35 Flat models with 1½ inch connections have the same diameter as the Ø38 mm hose. The triangular and rectangular vacuum heads in the Serenit Vacuum, Brush, Net and Pole Set also work with the hose.
