Users and applications
Starting Platforms and Accessories is intended for those setting up the start end of a competition pool. The selection is made first by body material and height: 400 or 700 mm, AISI-316 or AISI-304. For backstroke starts a backstroke system, for raising the platform a raised platform, for fixing an anchor, and number sets are each purchased as separate items.

// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
The platform is fixed to the deck with an anchor, and the anchor is purchased as a separate item. AISI-316 anchors are available under codes 54460 and 54461, the AISI-304 anchor under code 54462. For the Backstroke Start System, an anchor mounting kit, a bracket mounting kit or a square platform anchor kit is chosen. Number sets are available in 80 mm or 100 mm.

- An 80 mm or 100 mm number set is added.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Maintenance of the platforms depends on the slip resistance of the surface, the footrest position and the fixings. The platform has a fibreglass and polyester non-slip surface; the Velocity Advantage surface is TrueTread or non-slip. The footrest is adjustable on the 6-position models. Anchor and bolt connections are checked throughout the service life.

The H-700 model with mobile support is 700 mm high, and the Velocity Advantage platform is 410 mm high. The choice is made by the required start height and body material.

Starting Platforms and Accessories covers the same platforms plus backstroke start systems, raised platforms, anchors and number sets; the total number of items is much larger. On both, the platform is a 500 x 500 mm fibreglass and polyester non-slip surface. The platform with an AISI-316 body weighs 32 kg at 700 mm and 25.3 kg at 400 mm. The platform with an AISI-304 body weighs 25 kg at 700 mm and 18 kg at 400 mm.

The Velocity Advantage platform is 410 mm high and has a 710 x 810 mm step surface. The base is HDPE composite and the step is fibreglass. The footrest has 5 positions and the weight is 53 kg. The surface is sold in two options, TrueTread or non-slip. The Velocity Advantage anchor kit is purchased as a separate item.

The Backstroke Start System has an HDPE frame and weighs 11 kg. There are three mounting options: an anchor mounting kit, a bracket mounting kit and a square platform anchor kit. The Backstroke Start Training System weighs 1.4 kg and is attached with a polyester strap and a cam buckle.

Platform number sets are sold in 80 mm and 100 mm sizes. Each size has 1-6 and 1-10 number sets. The codes are 28616, 28617, 34200 and 34201. The choice is made by the size of the numbers on the platform. The sets come in packs of 4 and are selected according to the platform height.

The raised platform is sold in 2 m and 2.5 m widths; there are also right corner and left corner models. The body is AISI-304 stainless steel with a plastic grating. The codes are 34213, 34214, 34215 and 34216. As the platform is AISI-304, it can also be used as a turn panel.
