The LumiPlus PAR56 2.0 Pool LED Lamp is a 12 V AC LED pool lamp fitted inside an existing PAR56 floodlight. Çilek Havuz supplies PAR56 2.0 through quotes and as part of its projects. The white and warm white models deliver 1485 lm at 14.5 W, the RGB models 1100 lm at 22 W. There are five models; the RGB options include models with the RC1100 remote control. The lamp comes with a 2.5 m cable.

Users and applications
It is chosen by those who want to convert only the lamp to LED in a pool with a PAR56 floodlight. The floodlight body, niche and cable line stay in place; only the lamp changes. The light colour is determined by use: white for a crisp light, warm white for a warmer tone, RGB for colour and effects. RGB options with remote control are also available.

Installation and compatible equipment
The lamp replaces the old lamp in the existing PAR56 floodlight; the niche and cable line stay as they are. As the supply is 12 V AC, the line comes from the Pool Lighting Transformer. The transformer rating is compared with the total VA of the lamps on the line: 20 VA for white and warm white, 29 VA for RGB. Cable joints are made in the Pool Lighting Junction Box.
- The power to the pool lighting circuit is switched off at the panel.
- The floodlight is removed from the niche and the old lamp is taken out.
- The 2.5 m cable of the lamp is joined to the line; the joint stays in the Pool Lighting Junction Box.
- The lamp is placed in the floodlight and the floodlight is seated in the niche.
- The transformer rating is checked against the total VA of the lamps.

Maintenance checkpoints
The routine task is to wipe the lens during pool cleaning. Each time the floodlight is removed from the niche, the seal is renewed and the cable entry is checked for traces of water. On the RGB models, the colour programme is reselected with the push button or with the RC1100 remote control and Range Extender. When a lamp is added to the line, the transformer load is recalculated.

If a complete light with a frame is wanted, the LumiPlus Essential PAR56 floodlight is chosen; if it is wanted with the niche, the LumiPlus PAR56 Complete Floodlight Kit. The lamp comes with a 2.5 m cable and runs on 12 V AC.

The white and warm white models deliver 1485 lm at 14.5 W; both have energy class E. The RGB models deliver 1100 lm at 22 W and are class G. The light tone is selected between white and warm white, while colour and effect are selected with the RGB model.

The RGB RC1100 + Remote Control model includes the RC1100 remote control together with the lamp. The RGB RC1100 model is a lamp only and is chosen if the pool already has an RC1100 remote control. The RC1100 lamp works with the remote control only together with the Range Extender. The plain RGB model is controlled with a push button. On all three RGB models the power is 22 W and the apparent power 29 VA.

LumiPlus PAR56 2.0 comes in white, warm white and RGB models; its RGB model delivers 1100 lm at 22 W. The LumiPlus PAR56 Plug&Play Lamp is RGB only, delivers 2000 lm at 34.5 W and is controlled with the 74399 remote control. Version 2.0 is chosen for white light and lower power, Plug&Play for higher-lumen RGB.

The white and warm white models draw 20 VA, the RGB models 29 VA of apparent power. The rating of the transformer on the line must not be lower than the total VA of the lamps. If the existing transformer is not sufficient, a Pool Lighting Transformer of suitable rating is chosen. The power is 14.5 W on the white and warm white models and 22 W on the RGB model.

The white and warm white lamp draws 20 VA, the RGB lamp 29 VA. A 100 VA transformer carries 3 RGB lamps. With 5 white lamps the load is 100 VA, exactly equal to the transformer rating; to leave a margin, 130 VA is chosen. The Pool Lighting Transformer comes in 100, 130, 300 and 600 VA models.

White has the highest light output. The white and warm white models deliver 1485 lm at 14.5 W and are class E. The RGB models deliver 1100 lm at 22 W and are class G. On the RGB lamp, colour and effect can be selected; white is chosen for steady, strong lighting and RGB for a coloured scene.
