LumiPlus Essential PAR56 is a 12 V AC LED pool light (PAR56 projector) that fits a 230 mm PAR56 niche and replaces the old lamp without removing the niche. Çilek Havuz supplies Essential PAR56 through quotes and as part of its projects. White and warm white models deliver 1485 lm at 14.5 W, RGB models 1100 lm at 22 W. The frame can be white, beige, grey or anthracite.

Users and applications
Intended for villa owners, residential complexes and businesses that want to convert a pool with halogen PAR56 lamps to LED. It is also used in newly built pools in projects with a 230 mm niche. The light colour is chosen by the use of the pool: white for the swimming area, warm white to match garden lighting, RGB for a pool where colour and effects are wanted.

Installation and compatible equipment
The lamp sits directly in the 230 mm PAR56 niche; no niche replacement or additional construction work is needed. As the supply is 12 V AC, the line is installed via a pool lighting transformer. The transformer is selected on the basis of the total apparent power of the connected lamps.
- The old lamp is removed from the niche and its connection line is disconnected.
- The 2.5 m cable supplied with the product is joined to the line; the joint stays in a junction box that does not take in water.
- The projector is placed in the niche and the frame is secured.
- The transformer rating is checked against the total VA of the connected lamps.

Maintenance checkpoints
Routine work consists of wiping the frame during pool cleaning. When the lamp is removed from the niche, the gasket is replaced and the cable entry is checked for traces of water. On RGB models, the colour programme can be reselected with the button on the body or with the RC1100 remote control.
- The gasket is replaced each time the unit is removed.
- The cable entry and junction box are checked for traces of water.
- The frame is wiped with a non-abrasive cloth.

As the projector runs on 12 V AC, the rating of the existing transformer is checked before the replacement. The apparent power taken into account is 20 VA for the white and warm white models and 29 VA for the RGB model.

White and warm white models deliver 1485 lm at 14.5 W and are energy class E. RGB models deliver 1100 lm at 22 W and change colour and effect; they are energy class G. White is chosen for clear visibility in the swimming area, warm white for a tone that matches garden lighting, and RGB for a coloured scene.

Colour and effect are changed with the push button on the body or with the RC1100 remote control used together with the Range Extender. For a pool where remote control is wanted, the White / RGB RC1100 model is chosen. Both RGB models fit the same 230 mm niche, run on 12 V AC and draw 22 W.

On the white and warm white light models, the frame can be white, beige, grey or anthracite; RGB models come with a white frame. As the frame is the only part visible on the pool wall, it is usually chosen close to the lining colour: white or beige for light mosaic, grey or anthracite for a dark lining.

A 2.5 m connection cable is supplied with the lamp. A pool lighting transformer with a 12 V AC output is needed for operation; the junction box and cable kit are listed on the site as separate products. For a new concrete or liner pool, the LumiPlus PAR56 Complete Projector Kit, supplied with its niche, can also be chosen.

LumiPlus Essential PAR56 runs on 12 V AC. The 230 V AC mains is not brought down to the pool; it is reduced to 12 V AC in the pool lighting transformer, and the lamp is fed by this line. The transformer rating is chosen by the total apparent power of the connected lamps: 20 VA for the white and warm white models, 29 VA for the RGB model.

Mains voltage does not reach the lamp: 230 V AC stays at the pool transformer, and only the 12 V AC line goes down to the lamp in the pool. The cable joint is made in a junction box that does not take in water, and the gasket is replaced each time the lamp is removed. Earthing and residual current protection of the line are checked through the electrical installation during installation.
