The LumiPlus PAR56 Plug&Play Lamp is an RGB LED pool lamp fitted inside an existing PAR56 floodlight that changes colour by remote control. Çilek Havuz supplies PAR56 Plug&Play through quotes and as part of its projects. It runs on 12 V AC, delivers 2000 lm of light at 34.5 W and draws 45 VA of apparent power. It is chosen as a single lamp or as a kit in which one or two lamps come with a remote control; no wiring changes are needed at the panel.

Users and applications
It is intended for villa owners and residential complexes that want coloured light in a pool with a PAR56 floodlight but do not want to touch the panel and cable line. The lamp replaces the old lamp and the colour is selected with the wireless remote control. In a pool with one floodlight the single-lamp kit is chosen, in a pool with two floodlights the two-lamp kit; in a pool that already has the remote control, a single lamp is added.

// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
The lamp replaces the old lamp in the existing PAR56 floodlight; the niche, cable line and panel stay as they are. As the supply is 12 V AC, the line comes through the Pool Lighting Transformer. An apparent power of 45 VA per lamp is taken as the basis; when switching from a halogen lamp the transformer load falls, when switching from a white LED the load may rise.
- The power to the pool lighting circuit is switched off at the panel.
- The floodlight is removed from the niche and the old lamp is taken out.
- The Plug&Play lamp is connected; the joints stay in a watertight junction box.
- The floodlight is seated in the niche and the lamp is tested with the remote control.

Maintenance checkpoints
The routine task is to wipe the floodlight lens during pool cleaning. When the lamp is removed from the niche, the seal is renewed and the cable entry is checked for traces of water. After a power cut, colour and sequence are reselected from the remote control. When a new lamp is added to the pool, the total apparent power connected to the transformer is recalculated.

In a pool with one floodlight the kit with one lamp and one remote control is chosen, in a pool with two floodlights the kit with two lamps and one remote control. If the pool already has the 74399 Plug&Play remote control, only the lamp is bought and it is controlled with the same remote control.

No; as the lamp is controlled with a wireless remote control, no additional cable or control device is added to the panel. The lamp replaces the old lamp in the existing PAR56 floodlight and is supplied from the same 12 V AC line. Before the replacement, only the transformer rating is checked: each lamp draws 45 VA of apparent power.

If it replaces a halogen PAR56 lamp, it can: the transformer that supplies a 300 W halogen lamp is well above the lamp drawing 45 VA. If it replaces a white LED lamp, the load rises and the total is recalculated. Two Plug&Play lamps together draw 90 VA; a 100 VA transformer covers this load.

The PAR56 Plug&Play lamp is an RGB lamp fitted inside the existing floodlight. It delivers 2000 lm at 34.5 W and is controlled with the 74399 remote control. LumiPlus Essential PAR56, on the other hand, is a floodlight that fits into a 230 mm niche with its frame; its RGB model delivers 1100 lm at 22 W. Plug&Play is chosen for RGB with wireless remote control, Essential for white light or a coloured frame.

One PAR56 Plug&Play lamp illuminates approximately 20-25 m² of pool surface. This value is an estimate; the lining colour and pool shape change the result. In pools with a dark lining or long pools, a second lamp is added and both lamps are controlled together with the same Plug&Play remote control.

Yes; the PAR56 Plug&Play lamp is used as a retrofit in floodlights with halogen PAR56 lamps. The niche and cable line do not change, and the supply is still 12 V AC. While the halogen lamp draws 300 W, the Plug&Play lamp runs at 34.5 W; instead of white, the light becomes RGB colours selected by remote control.
