// 02 · Use
Users and applications
Luminescent is chosen for projects where the pool is to glow in the dark. The mosaic is made of phosphorescent glass that glows in the dark. The two colours, Blue and Green, come in the same 33.4 x 33.4 cm sheet size. The choice is decided only by the glow colour wanted; each colour is ordered with its own code.
- Projects that want a pool surface that glows in the dark
- Designs that want to bring out the night-time appearance
- Designs looking for a Blue or Green glow
- Projects with a request for a custom shape and colour
// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
Luminescent sheets are laid with adhesive like other glass mosaics and finished with grout. As the glow comes from the phosphorescent glass, the position where the sheet will receive light is also considered when it is laid. As the sheet measures 33.4 x 33.4 cm, the area is divided by this size. The order is written with the code Blue LU0125Y2 or Green LU0225Y2.
- The location of the glowing area is determined.
- The area is divided into 33.4 x 33.4 cm sheets to find the number of sheets.
- Blue or Green is chosen, and the manufacturer code is written down.
- The sheets are laid with adhesive and the joints are grouted.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
As the glow is seen through the sheet surface, no layer of dirt or limescale is left on it. The surface is cleaned with a soft brush or cloth. Cracks in the grout joints are monitored. When a sheet is replaced, the same colour code is used, because the Blue and Green sheets have separate codes and a different glow colour.
- The surface is cleaned before limescale and dirt build up.
- The face of the sheet is kept free of dirt and limescale.
- Cracking and loss of grout are monitored.

Luminescent comes in two colours: Blue, code LU0125Y2, and Green, code LU0225Y2. Both are 33.4 x 33.4 cm glass sheets. Their list prices are the same, so the choice is decided only by the glow colour wanted. Orders and quotes are placed with the colour name or code.

The sheet size is 33.4 x 33.4 cm and is the same in both colours. The material is glass. The area to be covered is divided by 33.4 cm to convert it into a number of sheets. Extra sheets are added for edge and corner cuts. As the Blue LU0125Y2 and Green LU0225Y2 sheets are the same size, they can be planned side by side.

Yes, Luminescent is the group with the highest list price among the glass mosaics. The Blue and Green sheets have the same price. All the other glass mosaics on the site, including Sixties Hexagon, are priced lower than Luminescent. The difference comes from the phosphorescent material that glows in the dark. The current list price is shown by code on the product page.
