Pool Mosaic Tile Models, definition and selection criteria
A pool mosaic is made of small tile pieces that line the inner surface of the pool shell; because every model on this page is made of glass, the products are also known as glass mosaic pool lining. The models fall into three formats. The Pearl & Blue Mix, Lagoon & Beach Effect, Stone Effect & White and Non-Slip & Blue series consist of 2.5 x 2.5 cm glass squares and are chosen shade by shade. Niebla carries 5 x 5 cm squares on a 31 x 31 cm sheet; Premium Pearl Mix and Pearl Mix (Sea) offer ready blends built from percentage ratios on a 33.4 x 33.4 cm sheet. The special series includes the patterned Digital, the hexagonal Sixties and the glow-in-the-dark Luminescent. Four details decide the choice: material, tile size, sheet size and finish.

The Niebla sheet is 31 x 31 cm, and the Premium Pearl Mix, Pearl Mix (Sea) and Luminescent sheets are 33.4 x 33.4 cm. The Digital Series comes in two formats, 31 x 31 and 33.4 x 33.4 cm. The hexagonal Sixties is a 32 x 29 cm sheet.

Colours and models per series
Niebla is the widest series with 20 colours and textures. Pearl & Blue Mix, Non-Slip & Blue, the Digital Series and Pearl Mix (Sea) offer 9 options each, Lagoon & Beach Effect 8, and Stone Effect & White and Premium Pearl Mix 7 options each. Sixties has 4 colours and Luminescent 2.

Make-up of the blend sheets
Most Premium Pearl Mix and Pearl Mix (Sea) models combine three tile types in equal shares of 33% each. Montreal is made up of 80% Blanco and 20% G305, and Murano of 80% 202 and 20% G326; in these models a single tile type dominates.

In the 2.5 cm series each shade is chosen by its own code and the surface is planned with these shades. In sheet models the look comes ready on the sheet: Niebla carries 5 x 5 cm squares on a 31 x 31 cm sheet, while Premium Pearl Mix and Pearl Mix (Sea) offer percentage blends on a 33.4 x 33.4 cm sheet.

In the Non-Slip & Blue series, the Non-Slip Mist Pool, Non-Slip Blue Mist and Non-Slip Heavy Mist shades have a Matt C3 finish. In Stone Effect & White, Stone Matt C3 and White Matt C3 have this finish, as does C3 Mato in Lagoon & Beach Effect. The Digital Series also has a matt finish.

The percentage shows how much of each tile type is on the sheet. Tokyo is made up of 33% MA33, 33% MT05 and 33% G312, so the three types have equal shares. Montreal is 80% Blanco and 20% G305. The Pearl Mix (Sea) models are built on the same principle as sea-themed blends.

The area to be covered is divided by the model's sheet size to give the number of sheets. For example, 32 x 29 cm is used for Sixties and 33.4 x 33.4 cm for Luminescent. Extra sheets are added for edge and corner cuts. We can also work out the calculation together with the survey measurements.

For a quote, give the series and shade name or code, the sheet format and the area to be covered. The Digital Series has no fixed list price; the price is worked out per project from this information. You can send your request through the quote basket on the product page; adding the shade codes to the list speeds up the process.
