Smart Plug is chosen by those who want to switch a plug-in pool device on and off from a phone. It is designed to control the filter pump, lighting and salt electrolysis unit. The Fluidra Pool app manages the device via Bluetooth. If access is also wanted from outside Bluetooth range, the iQBridge ZB gateway takes the connection to the Wi-Fi cloud.

Installation and compatible equipment
Smart Plug works on a plug and play basis: the device's plug goes into the Smart Plug, and the Smart Plug goes into the socket. Pairing is done via Bluetooth from the Fluidra Pool app. For a Wi-Fi cloud connection, the iQBridge ZB gateway on the Automation Gateways page is paired with the same app.

Maintenance checkpoints
Smart Plug has no parts that need maintenance. The points to watch over its service life are the plug connections and the pairing. The socket and plug contact points are kept dry and clean. If the device does not appear in the app, Bluetooth access and pairing are checked; if necessary, the Smart Plug is paired again in the app.

If control is needed outside Bluetooth range, this gateway is chosen.
