Users and applications
iQBridge RS is chosen to manage Fluidra devices that require a Wi-Fi gateway from a phone. Compatible equipment includes heat pumps and salt water chlorinators. The Automatic Pool Filter Multiport Valve also uses this gateway. With the Fluidra Pool app, the device is controlled whenever and from wherever required.

Installation and compatible equipment
iQBridge RS is easily fitted to compatible equipment with its waterproof connector. It can be fitted to the device or mounted on a wall; the wall mounting kit and outdoor double-sided tape for securing the device come in the package. Pairing with the app is guided step by step. The Automatic Pool Filter Multiport Valve is set up with this gateway.
- The device to be controlled is confirmed to be compatible with iQBridge RS.
- The gateway is fitted to the device with the waterproof connector.
- If the device is to stay in place, it is secured with the mounting kit or the double-sided tape.
- The gateway is paired with the device in the Fluidra Pool app.

Maintenance checkpoints
iQBridge RS has no parts that require maintenance. Over its service life, the points to check are the connector, the fixing and the pairing in the app. The connector is kept clean and firmly fitted. If the device does not appear in the app, the connector and fixing are checked, and if necessary the gateway is paired again in the app.

- The wall mounting kit or tape is checked to be holding firmly.
- The app is used to test that the device appears and responds to commands.

Through the app, the device is managed whenever and from wherever required. The gateway does not replace the device; it only adds app control to an existing Fluidra device.

iQBridge RS connects to compatible Fluidra heat pump and salt water chlorinator models. The Automatic Pool Filter Multiport Valve also uses this gateway for its Wi-Fi connection. The compatibility of each device is confirmed separately; for an incompatible device, the other gateways on the Automation Gateways page are considered.

Both work with the Fluidra Pool app, but their roles differ. iQBridge RS is a gateway and connects compatible Fluidra devices to the app. Smart Plug is a smart plug that connects via Bluetooth and switches a mains-powered device on and off. If the device itself supports a connection, iQBridge RS is chosen; for a device that plugs into a socket, Smart Plug.
