Cover Connect is a wireless cover control unit used to open and close an automatic pool cover from a phone via Bluetooth. Çilek Havuz supplies Cover Connect through quotes and as part of its projects. The system consists of a control panel and a mobile app. It works with motorised underwater and above-ground automatic covers. Solar-powered retraction systems are outside its compatibility scope. It is chosen as a control option for Octeo and Sveltea, and the underwater Roussillon is also within scope.

Users and applications
Cover Connect is chosen for pools with a motorised automatic cover where the owner wants to operate the cover from a phone. The cover is opened and closed from the control panel at the poolside or from the mobile app. As the connection is made via Bluetooth, the phone is used close to the pool. The unit is a separate accessory and is added to the cover order as a control option.

Installation and compatible equipment
Cover Connect is ordered as the control option of a motorised automatic cover. First, we confirm that the cover is a motorised underwater or above-ground model. We also check that it is not a solar-powered retraction system. The mobile app is then installed on the phone, and the phone is paired with the control unit via Bluetooth. It is easy to install and use.
- We confirm that the cover is a motorised model such as the AstralPool Octeo Automatic Pool Cover, the AstralPool Sveltea Automatic Pool Cover or the Roussillon Hidden Automatic Cover.
- Cover Connect is specified as the control option in the cover quotation.
- We check that the cover does not have a solar-powered retraction system.
- The mobile app is installed on the phone and the unit is paired via Bluetooth.

Maintenance checkpoints
When using Cover Connect, the user checks that the panel buttons and indicator lights respond. When the phone is replaced, the app is installed on the new phone and Bluetooth pairing is repeated. While the cover opens or closes, the pool surface is kept in view. When the movement needs to stop, the STOP button on the panel is pressed.

The phone is paired with the control unit once, after which the commands in the app are passed to the cover motor. The same operation can also be carried out from the control panel at the poolside. This means the cover can be operated from the panel even when the phone is not at hand.

The panel has two arrow buttons for opening and closing, a lock button and a STOP button. Two indicator lights sit in the upper corner of the panel. The STOP button is used to stop the movement of the cover while it is opening or closing. The function of each button is marked on the panel with arrow, lock and STOP symbols.

No. As control is via Bluetooth, the phone must be close to the pool and the control unit. Bluetooth is a short-range connection. This arrangement also means the cover is operated with the pool surface in view while it is moving. The user stays at the poolside while the cover opens or closes and presses the STOP button if needed.

The compatibility scope of Cover Connect excludes solar-powered retraction systems. The Bellasun Pool Cover Roller System, which runs on a solar panel and battery, falls into this group. For this reason, the control option for Bellasun is clarified separately at the quotation stage. The mains-powered motorised Octeo and Sveltea covers and the underwater Roussillon cover are within scope.

Cover Connect is specified as the control option when requesting a cover quotation. For Octeo, the options offered are Cover Connect with mobile app, a remote control panel and a remote control key switch. For Sveltea, Cover Connect is optional. The quotation states the pool size for the cover together with the chosen control type.

Yes. The Roussillon Hidden Automatic Cover is an underwater automatic cover and can be controlled with Cover Connect. With the dry motor, tubular motor and water-level motor options, the cover is motorised. The unit is added to this motorised cover as a control option. The cover and shaft stay in a separate compartment at the end of the pool, and control is carried out from the phone.

Cover Connect does not include a motor; it is the control unit for a motorised automatic cover. The cover is moved by its own tubular motor or dry motor. The manual Sveltea is turned by hand, so it does not need this unit. Before the unit is chosen, we confirm that the cover is a motorised above-ground or underwater model.
