The Above-Ground Automatic Cover is a range of motorised or manual pool covers that close the pool with a shaft at the pool edge. Çilek Havuz supplies Above-Ground Automatic through quotes and as part of its projects. The range includes Octeo, Sveltea, Manual Sveltea and the solar-powered Bellasun. Pool sizes range from 4 x 8 to 7 x 14 m. On motorised models, the tubular motor is inside the shaft and has a limit switch.

Users and applications
The range is chosen in projects looking for an above-ground layout that covers the pool from the edge. Octeo is used on large pools, Sveltea on small and medium sizes, and Bellasun in locations with no electrical line. For those who want to retract the cover by hand, there is Manual Sveltea. The model is determined by the pool size and energy source.

Installation and compatible equipment
Above-ground covers are installed with the shaft standing at the pool edge. On Octeo, Sveltea and Bellasun, the tubular motor is inside the shaft; Manual Sveltea is turned by hand. Bellasun needs no electrical connection, while the other motorised models need a power supply. For control from a phone, Fluidra Cover Connect Pool Cover Wireless Control is added; the solar-powered Bellasun does not work with this control.

Maintenance checkpoints
Maintenance of above-ground covers relies on keeping the shaft, cover surface and legs clean. On Bellasun, the solar panel is kept clean and free of shade. On Manual Sveltea, as the roll and spindle are operated by hand, it is checked that the movement does not stick. Leaves and debris that collect on the cover surface are removed before it is opened.

Manual Sveltea is retracted by hand. Bellasun is powered by a solar panel; the other motorised models need an electrical connection.

The difference lies in the retraction method. Manual Sveltea is turned by hand; its roll diameter is 350 mm at 4 x 8 m, 380 mm at 4 x 10 m and 410 mm at 5 x 10 m. Motorised Sveltea runs on a tubular motor and has a limit switch. Both are available in 4 x 8, 4 x 10 and 5 x 10 m sizes.

The colour options vary by model. Octeo comes in four combinations: White/White, White/Anthracite, Anthracite/White and Anthracite/Anthracite. Sveltea has White/White, White/Anthracite, Grey/White and Turquoise/White options. Manual Sveltea is made in four colours. For Octeo, optional solar LED lighting is offered with a white or grey leg.

Wireless control is compatible with Octeo and Sveltea. Fluidra Cover Connect Pool Cover Wireless Control is compatible with all automatic covers except solar-powered retraction systems; it is therefore not used on Bellasun. As Manual Sveltea is turned by hand, it does not need the control. The control works over Bluetooth and a mobile app.

The decision depends on the construction status of the pool and the equipment that will be visible at the edge. In the above-ground range, the shaft sits above ground at the pool edge. The Roussillon Hidden Automatic Cover, by contrast, sits underwater and shows no system at the edge; however, it needs a separating compartment for the cover and shaft.

The material varies by model. Octeo has a cast aluminium structure and its motor is inside the shaft. Bellasun uses an anodised aluminium shaft and galvanised aluminium legs. The Bellasun shaft is selected in Ø146 or Ø196 mm diameter. Octeo fits pools up to 7.5 x 17 m and Bellasun up to 6.03 x 12 m; the model is determined by the pool size.
