Cover Shaft & Roller Systems is a family of shafts, rollers and mobile reels that wind and store bubble and foam thermal covers. Çilek Havuz supplies Shaft · Roller Systems through quotes and as part of its projects. The fixed tube shaft and the ECO-ROLL roller are for bubble covers. The mobile reels wind covers from 7 x 10 to 16 x 25 m. Motorised versions come with a box and remote control.

Users and applications
This family is chosen in projects that want to wind the thermal cover after use and store it outside the pool. On small pools, the fixed tube shaft or the ECO-ROLL roller is sufficient. There are mobile reels for covers from 7 x 10 m to 16 x 25 m. For covers up to 11.5 x 25 m, there is a motorised terminal-type roller.

Installation and compatible equipment
Mobile reels are delivered dismantled and are designed for easy assembly. The supports are stainless steel and the axles anodised aluminium. Motorised models come with a 10 m extension cable, a control box and a remote control. The fixed tube shaft consists of a central tube, a movable support and a set of straps; the cover is attached with the straps.

Maintenance checkpoints
Maintenance of reel and shaft systems consists of keeping the supports, axles and wheels clean. The stainless steel supports and anodised aluminium axles are checked throughout use. On mobile reels, the brake and axle lock are kept in working order. The distance between the cover and the pool edge is kept short; this prevents the cover from wearing through friction.

+90 216 475 39 37The choice is made according to the cover size and drive type. The fixed tube shaft comes in 4.50, 5.50 and 6.50 m lengths with 9, 11 and 13 straps. ECO-ROLL is for covers up to 4 x 9, 5 x 11 and 7 x 14 m, and a motor kit is optional. Both are used with the Bubble Thermal Cover and the 400 Micron Bubble Solar Pool Cover.

The mobile reel for a foam cover is chosen according to the pool size and drive type. The single-axis manual reel is for foam covers up to 7 x 10 m. The 3-leg and motorised single-axis reels wind covers up to 8 x 25 m. The cover models are listed on the Foam Thermal Cover page.

The difference lies in the pool size that can be wound. Single-axis reels are for covers between 7 x 10 m and 8 x 25 m. Double-axis reels are for pools up to 16 x 25 m and are supplied in a 2 x 8 m arrangement. Double-axis reels come in manual and motorised versions.

A 10 m extension cable, a control box and a remote control come with the motorised mobile reel. The motorised single-axis reel is for covers up to 8 x 25 m, and the motorised double-axis reel for covers up to 16 x 25 m. A box and remote control are also supplied with the motorised terminal-type roller.

The terminal-type roller is used for pools up to 11.5 x 25 m. It is motorised and comes with a box and remote control. Its support is aluminium and its height is 1004 mm. It is used only with foam covers and is not chosen for bubble covers. Opening and closing are done by remote control.

The supports of the mobile reels are stainless steel and the axles anodised aluminium. The height varies by model: manual single-axis 556 mm, 3-leg 638 mm, motorised single-axis 609 mm, manual double-axis 1204 mm, motorised double-axis 1205 mm. The support of the terminal-type roller is aluminium.

Yes, the distance is taken into account when choosing the reel and is kept as short as possible. A short distance prevents the cover from wearing through friction; the shorter the distance, the less the cover rubs against the pool edge. The roller system can be adapted to the project. Transport costs are quoted on request.
