The LumiPlus Flexi Fixing System and Frame is a set consisting of a mounting part and a frame that secures LumiPlus Flexi lamps to the pool wall. Çilek Havuz supplies Flexi Fixing through quotes and as part of its projects. FlexiNiche fits a niche with an inner diameter of 180-230 mm, FlexiSlim a surface mount and FlexiRapid a 1½ inch female thread nozzle. The frame is white, beige, grey or anthracite; FlexiNiche also comes with two stainless steel options.

Users and applications
It is used in villa and residential complex pools where a LumiPlus Flexi lamp is to be fitted. The choice is made according to the existing part in the pool wall: FlexiNiche in a pool with a niche, FlexiSlim on a flat surface without a niche, FlexiRapid in a pool with a 1½ inch female thread nozzle. The frame colour is chosen to suit the lining and stays in place even when the lamp is changed.
- Concrete, liner and fibreglass pools with a niche of 180-230 mm inner diameter (FlexiNiche)
- Surface mounting in a new pool or an existing AstralPool surface-mounted fitting (FlexiSlim)
- Pools with a 1½ inch female thread nozzle (FlexiRapid)
- Pools with a niche where a stainless steel frame is wanted
// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
First the opening in the pool wall is identified, then the fixing type that suits that opening is chosen. Once the fixing system is seated, the LumiPlus Flexi lamp is fitted inside it and the frame is closed. The lamp supply is installed according to the type of lamp: a 12 V AC line comes through the Pool Lighting Transformer, and cable joints stay inside the Pool Lighting Junction Box.
- The niche, nozzle or flat surface in the pool wall is measured.
- FlexiNiche, FlexiSlim or FlexiRapid is chosen according to the measurement.
- The fixing system is seated in the opening and the cable route is prepared.
- The LumiPlus Flexi lamp is fitted and the frame is closed.

Maintenance checkpoints
The fixing system and frame are the parts that stay in the pool even when the lamp is changed. During pool cleaning the frame is wiped with a non-abrasive cloth. When the lamp is removed from its opening, the seating surface and cable entry are checked. On a stainless steel frame, the surface is kept clean of pool water residue.

The same LumiPlus Flexi lamps fit all three types.

No; the set consists only of the fixing part and frame. The lamp is chosen separately: the LumiPlus Flexi Connect Lamp for app control, the LumiPlus Flexi Plug&Play Lamp for remote-controlled RGB light, and the LumiPlus Flexi On/Off Lamp for switched white light. All three lamps fit into the same fixing system.

Yes; FlexiNiche is the frame that fits niches with an inner diameter between 180 and 230 mm. The existing niche stays in place, FlexiNiche is placed in the niche and the LumiPlus Flexi lamp is fitted into this frame. The white, beige, grey and anthracite FlexiNiche frames measure Ø294 × 20 mm.

In a pool without a niche, FlexiSlim is used; this frame is surface-mounted on the pool wall. It measures Ø290 × 51 mm. In a new pool it is fitted directly to the surface, in an existing pool it clips onto the existing AstralPool surface-mounted fitting. It is offered in white, beige, grey and anthracite; the stainless steel option is available only in the FlexiNiche type.

The stainless steel option is available only in the FlexiNiche type and comes in two models. The first consists of a stainless steel ring with an ABS body and measures Ø294 × 20 mm. The second is entirely stainless steel and measures Ø310 × 20 mm. FlexiSlim and FlexiRapid are offered only with a coloured frame.
