Nanofiber is a pool filter with a nanofibre cartridge that filters pool water down to 5-8 µm. Çilek Havuz supplies Nanofiber through quotes and as part of its projects. Its three sizes are rated at 10, 14 and 18 m³/h, with a filtration area of 4.5-6 m², for pool volumes up to 70-90 m³. Each size is available in an Automatic and a Manual version. The connection is 2" and the maximum pressure is 2.5 bar.

Users and applications
Nanofiber is chosen for filtration lines in small pools that need very fine filtration. The three sizes are for pools of up to 70, 80 and 90 m³. The Automatic version leaves cleaning to the filter itself, while the Manual version is cleaned by hand. The choice is made by pool volume and the preferred cleaning method.

Installation and compatible equipment
Nanofiber is fitted with 2" connections between the pump discharge line and the return line to the pool. The Automatic version connects to a six-way valve; it can be installed with the Automatic Multiport Valve for Pool Filters, code 72434. The body has a transparent lid, a pressure gauge and carrying handles. No sand fill is needed; the cartridge does the filtering.
- The filter is placed on a level, load-bearing base.
- The pump line is connected to the inlet and the pool return to the outlet.
- On the Automatic version, the six-way valve is mounted on the 2" connection.
- The pump is started and the starting pressure on the gauge is noted.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Maintenance of Nanofiber consists of monitoring the gauge pressure and cleaning the cartridge. On the Automatic version, cleaning is done by the filter's self-cleaning function; on the Manual version, it is done by hand. The transparent lid allows the level of fouling in the body to be seen from outside. When the cartridge is worn, it is replaced with the model's spare cartridge.
- The gauge pressure is monitored; a rise shows that cleaning is needed.
- On the Manual version, cleaning is done by hand and the lid is opened with the handles.
- The level of fouling is checked through the transparent lid.
- A worn cartridge is replaced with the model's spare cartridge.

The Automatic version works with a self-cleaning function and connects to a six-way valve, while the Manual version is cleaned by hand. The Manual versions have a lower list price. The filtration fineness is 5-8 µm and is the same on all six models. The filtration surface is 4.5 m² on model 150, 5.2 m² on model 180 and 6 m² on model 200. Fine filtration is chosen to maintain water clarity in small pools. A larger surface carries a higher flow.

Filtration fineness and flow set them apart. Nanofiber filters down to 5-8 µm and its sizes provide 10, 14 and 18 m³/h. ClariSave filters down to 20 µm and its models provide 10.1-25.2 m³/h. Nanofiber works with an area of 4.5-6 m², ClariSave with 7.8-14 m². For small volumes and fine filtration, Nanofiber is chosen.

Flow and filtration surface set them apart. Nanofiber has flows of 10, 14 and 18 m³/h, an area of 4.5-6 m² and a fineness of 5-8 µm. VIRON works with a flow of 30 m³/h and an area of 39-50 m². Nanofiber comes in Automatic and Manual versions, while VIRON is offered as QL 420 and QL 540. For a filter with lower flow and finer filtration, Nanofiber is chosen.

The maximum operating pressure is 2.5 bar and the connection size is 2". The pressure is read on the gauge on the body, and the lid is transparent. The pipework must match this diameter. The pump flow must not exceed the 10, 14 or 18 m³/h rating of the selected size. The pressure limit and connection are the same on all six models.
