ClariSave, Cartridge Filter.
ClariSave is a cartridge filter that passes pool water through a cartridge element and uses little water for cleaning. Çilek Havuz supplies ClariSave through quotes and as part of its projects. Its four models range from 10.1 to 25.2 m³/h in flow rate, 7.8 to 14 m² in filtration area and 81 to 202 m³ in pool volume. Body diameter is 490 mm, connection Ø50-63 mm and maximum pressure 3.5 bar. Filtration fineness is 20 µm.

Users and applications
ClariSave is chosen for filtration lines that need fine filtration and low water use for cleaning. The model is set by the flow rate of the pump: ClariSave 10 delivers 10.1 m³/h and ClariSave 25 delivers 25.2 m³/h. All four models share the same body diameter, with heights in two sizes, 784 and 965 mm.

Installation and compatible equipment
ClariSave is installed between the pump discharge line and the return line to the pool. The connection ports suit Ø50-63 mm pipe. No filling is needed, as filtration is carried out by the cartridge in the body. The pressure gauge on the body shows the filter pressure, and the starting value is noted at first start-up.
- The filter is placed on a level, load-bearing floor.
- The pump line is connected to the inlet port and the pool return to the outlet port.
- The lid is closed and the line is checked for leaks.
- The pump is started and the starting pressure on the gauge is noted.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Maintenance of ClariSave consists of washing the cartridge and replacing it when necessary. If the pressure on the gauge rises noticeably above the starting value, the pump is stopped, the lid is opened, and the cartridge is removed and washed with water. The cartridge is seated back in place and the lid is closed. A worn cartridge is replaced using the cartridge code of the model.

No, a cartridge filter has no valve backwash like a sand filter. When cleaning is needed, the cartridge is removed and washed. Even water flow reduces water use for cleaning and extends the interval between washes. The time for cleaning is shown by the pressure rise on the gauge; the maximum operating pressure is 3.5 bar.

ClariSave filters down to 20 µm. This value is the same on all four models. The filtration area is 7.8 m² on ClariSave 10, 10 m² on ClariSave 15, 12 m² on ClariSave 20 and 14 m² on ClariSave 25. Filtration velocity varies by model between 1.3 and 1.8 m³/h/m².

The cartridge code depends on the model. The cartridge with code 77129 is used for ClariSave 10, 77130 for ClariSave 15, 77131 for ClariSave 20 and 77132 for ClariSave 25. The filter codes are 77113, 77114, 77115 and 77116. The cartridge should be chosen according to the model of the filter.

ClariSave filters with a cartridge and needs no backwash; Aster filters with a sand bed and is backwashed with the valve. ClariSave delivers 10.1-25.2 m³/h and 20 µm fineness. Aster delivers 5-30 m³/h; on its five models with valve, the side-mounted multiport valve is in the pack, and it works with sand or glass media.

Both use cartridges; the choice is set by flow rate and filtration fineness. ClariSave gives 10.1-25.2 m³/h, 20 µm fineness and 7.8-14 m² of area. The Zodiac CS Cartridge Filter gives 22.7 and 28.4 m³/h, 15-20 µm fineness and 9.3 and 14 m² of area. The maximum pressure is 3.5 bar on both.

The body diameter is 490 mm on all models. ClariSave 10 and 15 are 784 mm high, and ClariSave 20 and 25 are 965 mm high. Weights are 15.6, 16.9, 18.6 and 19.3 kg respectively. The connection ports are Ø50-63 mm. In the plant room, the height of the body and the clearance for opening the lid are taken into account.
