The Plascoat 4-step ladder provides access into the water in pools with a deep entry. What decides the choice is the number of steps: as the entry gets deeper, a fourth step is needed. The Plascoat coating protects the frame from the effects of chlorinated and salt water. The ladder is used in new pools and in renovation work, weighs 14 kg and comes with equipotential fixtures.

Installation and compatible equipment
The Plascoat 4-step ladder is supplied with anchor fixtures for connection to the equipotential terminal. The ladder handrails are seated in the anchors and tightened. The equipotential connection is made through the fixture. To avoid scratching the coating, contact with hard tools and rubbing are avoided during installation. After installation, the coating is visually checked for scratches.

Maintenance checkpoints
The integrity of the coating is what gives the ladder its corrosion resistance, so maintenance is based on protecting the surface. The handrails and steps are wiped with a soft cloth and pool water. Abrasive products and wire brushes are not used. If scratches are seen on the coating, the ladder is checked before it is used. The anchor connections are reviewed in the same check.

If the coating is punctured, the steel comes into contact with water at that point and the corrosion protection is reduced. A scratch that exposes the steel is therefore a risk. If a scratch is noticed, the ladder is checked. Hard tools are not used during installation or cleaning. The surface is wiped with a soft cloth and kept away from abrasive products.
