Pool Ladder Models, definition and selection criteria
A pool ladder is stainless steel equipment anchored to the pool edge that provides entry into and exit from the water with its handrails and steps. This page covers AISI-304L, AISI-316L and Plascoat coated stainless ladders, models with polypropylene and non-slip plastic steps, the overflow pool ladder and the pool access lift. Selection starts with four pieces of information: the number of steps for the water depth, the material grade for the pool water, the entry width and the type of pool edge. Models are made with 2 to 8 steps and in widths of 500 and 970 mm. The horizontal reach of the handrails from the edge is 318 mm on the Muro model and 968 mm on the Overflow 1000 model, which spans the overflow channel.

The number of steps is chosen according to the water depth the ladder descends into. Komfi and Muro are made with 2, 3, 4 and 5 steps, Easy Exit with 3 and 4 steps; for deep entries the Wide model has 4 to 8 steps.

Elegance, Easy Exit, Overflow 1000 and the Wide model are 500 mm wide. The Wide model reaches a width of 970 mm by adding one kit per step and suits wide entries.

Handrail reach from the edge
On the Muro model the handrails reach only 318 mm from the pool edge and take up little space on the deck. On the Overflow 1000 model the reach is 968 mm; the handrails pass over the overflow channel and come down to the pool wall.

Access lift cycles per charge
The PAL II and Splash access lifts have a 24 V rechargeable battery and provide 30 uses per charge. PAL II is portable and stands on a concrete counterweight; Splash is semi-portable and is fixed with a deck anchor.

+90 216 475 39 37The number of steps is chosen according to the water depth and the edge height. For shallow entries 2 or 3 steps are considered, for deep entries 4 or 5 steps. For deeper entries the Wide model is also made with 6, 7 and 8 steps.

AISI-304L is chosen for chlorinated water. AISI-316L is a steel with higher resistance to chlorine and low salt levels. On Plascoat coated models the body is AISI-304L and the coating gives additional corrosion protection for saltwater pools; to keep this protection, the surface is installed and cleaned without scratching.

Muro, Easy Exit and Wide model ladders are delivered with their anchors and earthing. On Plascoat models the anchors come with equipotential bonding fixtures. For the Elegance ladder the anchors are ordered separately and two are needed per ladder, so we list them together with the ladder in the quote.

The Overflow 1000 is used for an overflow pool edge. Its handrails reach 968 mm horizontally, pass over the overflow channel and come down to the pool wall. The body is polished AISI-316 stainless steel, the width is 500 mm, and there are four models from 2 + 1 to 5 + 1.

A safety step gives the foot a wide surface to stand on when entering the water. On the Elegance ladder the first step is twice the size of a standard step and is supported by non-slip material. Overflow 1000 models have an additional safety step on each ladder, and the Easy Exit ladder has safety steps with anti-slip pads.

For these users a battery powered access lift is used, which lowers the person into the water and lifts them out in a seated position. PAL II is portable and needs no mounting on the pool edge; Splash is semi-portable, needs a deck anchor and comes with a transport trolley. Both have a 24 V battery, a waterproof remote control, armrests and a footrest.
