RE 4400 iQ Voyager is a corded pool robot that cleans the floor, walls and waterline of pools up to 12 x 6 m and is managed with the iAquaLink app. Çilek Havuz supplies RE 4400 iQ Voyager through quotes and as part of its projects. It is powered from the 220-240 V mains, draws 150 W and comes with an 18 m cable. The two-stage filter is 150/60 µm, the filter area is 1066 cm² and the canister holds 4 litres.

Users and applications
Intended for medium and large villa pools, for users who want to start the robot from a phone. The decision rests on three questions: is the pool larger than 9 x 4 m, are fine particles a problem, is an app wanted. If the answer to any of them is yes, RE 4400 iQ Voyager is chosen; if all are no, RE 4200 Voyager is chosen.

Installation and compatible equipment
The robot is not connected to the pool pipework; it comes with a control unit and a two-stage filter. The control unit is plugged into an earthed socket at a dry point away from the pool. The robot cable is connected to the control unit and the cable is laid out straight. If the app will be used, the robot is paired with the iAquaLink app before the first run and cycles are selected from the phone.

Maintenance checkpoints
In the two-stage filter, coarse debris stays in the 150 µm layer and fine debris in the 60 µm layer. After each cycle the two layers are separated and rinsed with a hose; if the fine layer clogs, suction drops. The cable is uncoiled and laid out straight at regular intervals. There is a spiral brush at the front and at the rear, and both are checked for hair and leaves.

+90 216 475 39 37Once the robot is paired with the iAquaLink app, it is started and stopped from the phone. One of 2 cleaning cycles is selected in the app: floor only, or floor, walls and waterline together. The app is free of charge and is used together with the robot. Even without the app, the robot can be run from the control unit.

A two-stage filter separates debris into two layers: leaves and sand stay in the 150 µm layer, fine particles in the 60 µm layer. Finer debris is held than with a single-stage 100 µm filter. With this filter, RE 4400 iQ Voyager has a filter area of 1066 cm² and a 4 litre canister.

For a pool up to 12 x 6 m, RE 4400 iQ Voyager is sufficient. Its cable is 18 m long and it cleans the floor, walls and waterline together. If the control unit is placed near the middle of the long side of the pool, the cable reaches the farthest corner easily. If a cordless robot is preferred, RF 5400 iQ Freerider covers the 12 x 6 m class.

RE 4400 iQ Voyager is chosen when the pool is larger than 9 x 4 m, when the cable run is longer than 15 m, or when an app is wanted. RE 4200 Voyager has a single 100 µm filter, RE 4400 iQ a 150/60 µm two-stage filter. Power and dimensions are the same on both models: 150 W and 43 x 40 x 30 cm.

Yes, with long use the cable twists and limits the robot's manoeuvring. To prevent this, the cable is fully uncoiled and laid out straight at regular intervals. The control unit is placed near the middle of the long side of the pool, and only the length of cable needed is let into the water. The robot is lifted out of the water by its handle; the cable is not pulled.

Suitable surfaces are ceramic tile, liner, polyester, PVC and reinforced concrete. The robot cleans the floor, walls and waterline with a tracked drive and 2 motors. Whatever the lining, the selection criterion stays the same: the pool should not be larger than 12 x 6 m, and the 18 m cable should reach the farthest corner.

RE 4400 iQ Voyager has a 3 year warranty: 1 year is added to the standard 2 years when the robot is paired with iAquaLink. Pairing is done by connecting the robot to the iAquaLink app on the phone. The robot comes with an 18 m cable for pools up to 12 x 6 m and draws 150 W.
