// 02 · Use
Users and applications
Zodiac Spabot is chosen for spas and hot tubs where a pool robot does not fit. The internal size of the spa determines the choice: the floor should not exceed 3 x 3 m. As the robot is cordless, no cable or power supply stands beside the spa. It is used in garden and terrace hot tubs and in hotel and sports centre spas. The active brushes lift debris from the floor.
- Garden and terrace hot tubs up to 3 x 3 m
- Small spa pools in hotels and sports centres
- Outdoor spas with no socket at the edge
- Hot tubs where fine sand and particles collect on the floor
// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
Zodiac Spabot needs no installation; the box contains the robot, a charging adaptor and a 100µ fine particle filter. Before first use, the battery is fully charged with the charging adaptor. The robot is held by its handle, placed in the spa and runs for 60 min on a single charge. When the run ends, the robot is taken out of the water, the filter is emptied and the robot is put back on charge.

Maintenance checkpoints
As spa water is warm and carries a high chemical load, the robot is rinsed with fresh water after each use. The 100µ filter is emptied after each run and brushed when its pores clog. The filter level can be seen through the clear window on the body. The brushes and wheels are checked for wear. The robot is dried and stored in the shade.

The hot tub cleaning robot Zodiac Spabot is cordless and runs on a lithium-ion battery. No socket, power supply or cable reel is needed beside the spa. The robot is placed in the water and moves on its own throughout the run. As there is no cable, there is no tangling and no cable goes into the water. The battery is charged after the robot is taken out of the water.

Fine sand on a hot tub floor is collected by the 100µ filter of Zodiac Spabot. The active brushes lift the debris from the floor, and the robot draws it into the filter. The filter is emptied after each run; a full filter reduces suction and sand stays on the floor. A 100µ fine particle filter is supplied in the box.

In a hot tub, a rechargeable robot made for the size of a spa is used. Zodiac Spabot is designed for spas up to 3 x 3 m and weighs 2.5 kg. It is held with one hand by the rear handle and placed in the hot tub. For a pool whose floor is larger than 3 x 3 m, a cordless pool robot is chosen.
