CTX-200 Pool Shock Chlorine Granules are fast-dissolving stabilised chlorine granules that quickly raise the chlorine in the pool to the required level. Çilek Havuz supplies CTX-200 through quotes and as part of its projects. They are sold in 1, 5 and 25 kg packs; the manufacturer codes are 03135, 03137 and 10905. The dose is 150 g per 10 m³ of water. The granules do not change pH and are suitable for liner and polyester pools.

Users and applications
CTX-200 is chosen when the chlorine in the pool needs to be raised to the required level in a short time. The granules dissolve quickly and have high solubility in water. As it is stabilised chlorine, its effect lasts longer and it does not change pH. It is suitable for liner and polyester pools. The decision depends on the measured chlorine value and the pool volume.

Installation and compatible equipment
The product needs no installation; application is based on measurement. The chlorine value and pH are measured with Pool Water Test Strips & Kits. The dose is 150 g per 10 m³ of water. CTX-200 does not change pH; if pH is not within 7.2-7.6, CTX pro pH Regulator Granule is applied first. After application, chlorine is measured again.

Maintenance checkpoints
CTX-200 is a consumable; renewal depends on the chlorine measurement and the quantity remaining. The pack is kept closed. The granules are stored separately from pH products and other chemicals. The pack size is chosen according to the pool volume: 1 kg suits small applications and 25 kg large volumes. The codes are read from the label.

The decision to use them depends on the measured chlorine value; if chlorine is sufficient, they are not applied. For continuous disinfection, CTX-300 Slow-Dissolving Pool Chlorine Tablets are chosen.

150 g of granules is added per 10 m³ of water. In larger pools the quantity increases in proportion to the volume, and in a smaller pool it decreases. As the product does not change pH, the dose is set by the chlorine requirement alone. After application, the chlorine value is measured again; if the target is not reached, the dose is reviewed.

Yes. CTX-200 is suitable for liner and polyester pools. In these two pool types, fast-dissolving shock chlorine can be chosen. In other pool types, CTX-300 Slow-Dissolving Pool Chlorine Tablets, which suit all pools, are used. The product is chosen according to the pool type and chlorine requirement.

No. CTX-200 contains stabilised chlorine and raises the chlorine level without affecting pH. The pH balance is still monitored separately: CTX-10 is used above 7.6 and CTX-20 below 7.2. Both are on the CTX pro pH Regulator Granule page. Chlorine and pH are measured together.

The choice depends on the pool volume and the frequency of application. The code for the 1 kg pack is 03135, for the 5 kg pack 03137 and for the 25 kg pack 10905. The standard pack quantity is 20 for 1 kg, 4 for 5 kg and 1 for 25 kg. The contents are the same in all three.

Chlorine is measured with Pool Water Test Strips & Kits. The 7-parameter and 3-parameter test strips that read free chlorine are used for this. Measurement is made before and after application. This shows whether chlorine has reached the required level and avoids unnecessary dosing.
