CTX-300 is chosen by those who want pool water to be protected continuously with chlorine. The product dissolves slowly and contains stabilised chlorine, so its effect lasts a long time. Alongside continuous treatment, it is also suitable for shock treatment and general maintenance. It is used in all pool types; the choice is determined by the chlorine requirement.

Installation and compatible equipment
The product needs no installation; application is based on chlorine measurement. The dose is 10 g per 10 m³ of water; the quantity is adjusted to the pool volume and the measured chlorine value. pH is kept in the 7.2-7.6 range, using CTX pro pH Regulator Granules. After application, chlorine is measured again at regular intervals and the dose is reviewed accordingly.
- Chlorine and pH are measured with Pool Water Test Strips & Kits.
- If pH is not in the 7.2-7.6 range, CTX pro pH Regulator Granules are applied.
- 10 g per 10 m³ is calculated according to the pool volume.
- Chlorine is measured again at regular intervals.

Maintenance checkpoints
CTX-300 is a consumable product; the time for replenishment depends on chlorine measurement and the remaining quantity. The pack is kept closed. The product is stored separately from pH products and other pool chemicals. The pack codes are 03154, 03156 and 19195. If the chlorine value falls, the dose is reviewed.

Yes. Alongside continuous treatment, CTX-300 is also suitable for shock treatment. If chlorine needs to be raised very quickly, the fast-dissolving CTX-200 Pool Shock Chlorine Granules are more suitable. Both are stabilised chlorine; the dissolution rate differs. When used for shock treatment, the dose is calculated separately according to the pool volume and chlorine is monitored by measurement.

They are used in all pool types. The product has no pool type restriction; there is no need to choose a separate product for liner, polyester and other pools. CTX-200, by contrast, is suitable only for liner and polyester pools. If the pool type is not known, CTX-300 can be chosen; the choice is still guided by the chlorine requirement.

The choice depends on the pool volume and chlorine consumption. The code for the 1 kg pack is 03154, for the 5 kg pack 03156 and for the 25 kg pack 19195. The standard pack quantity is 20 for 1 kg, 4 for 5 kg and 1 for 25 kg. The contents of all three are the same.

Slow-dissolving means that the chlorine mixes into the water over time rather than all at once. This is why CTX-300 is chosen for continuous disinfection. For shock treatment, where a fast effect is wanted, the fast-dissolving CTX-200 is used. Both products carry the same type of chlorine, namely stabilised chlorine. The chlorine value is still monitored by measurement.

10 g is added per 10 m³ of water. This is much lower than the CTX-200 dose of 150 g per 10 m³; the two products are not added in the same quantity. In larger pools the quantity increases in proportion to the volume. Chlorine is measured again after application; if the value is low or high, the dose is reviewed.

Yes, they are used together. Disinfectant efficiency improves when pH is balanced, so pH is measured first. If pH is above 7.6, CTX-10 is applied; if it is below 7.2, CTX-20. Continuous chlorine is then maintained with CTX-300. The two products are stored in their own packs and are not mixed. Measurements are taken with Pool Water Test Strips & Kits.
