CTX pro Chlorine Shock Granule is a granular pool chemical containing stabilised chlorine that disinfects pool water. Çilek Havuz supplies CTX pro Chlorine Shock through quotes and as part of its projects. It has two products: CTX-200 dissolves quickly for shock chlorination, while CTX-300 dissolves slowly for continuous disinfection. Both come in 1, 5 and 25 kg packs. The CTX-200 dose is 150 g per 10 m³ of water.

Users and applications
This product is intended for those who want to disinfect pool water with chlorine. The purpose determines the choice: CTX-200 dissolves quickly and raises chlorine rapidly to the required level, while CTX-300 dissolves slowly and provides continuous disinfection. Both are stabilised chlorine. CTX-200 is suitable for liner and polyester pools; CTX-300 is used in all pool types.

Installation and compatible equipment
The product needs no installation; application is based on chlorine measurement. First the chlorine value of the pool water is measured, then the product suited to the purpose is chosen. The CTX-200 dose is 150 g per 10 m³ of water and the CTX-300 dose 10 g. CTX-200 does not change pH; pH balance is provided separately with CTX pro pH Regulator Granule. After application, chlorine is measured again.
- The chlorine value and pH are measured with a test strip.
- If pH is not within 7.2-7.6, CTX pro pH Regulator Granule is applied.
- CTX-200 or CTX-300 is chosen according to the purpose.
- 150 g per 10 m³ is calculated for CTX-200 and 10 g for CTX-300.
- After application, chlorine is measured again.

Maintenance checkpoints
Chlorine granules are a consumable; when to renew them depends on the chlorine measurement and the quantity remaining. The pack is kept closed and the granules are stored separately from other pool chemicals. CTX-200 and CTX-300 are not mixed with each other. The pack codes are 03135, 03137, 10905 and 03154, 03156, 19195.

If continuous disinfection is wanted, the slow-dissolving CTX-300 is chosen. CTX-300 is also suitable for shock treatment and general maintenance. Both contain stabilised chlorine and are sold in 1, 5 and 25 kg packs.

The dose is 150 g per 10 m³ of water for CTX-200 and 10 g per 10 m³ of water for CTX-300. The two products are not added in the same quantity. As the pool volume increases, the quantity increases proportionally, and as it decreases, so does the quantity. After application, chlorine is measured again and the dose is reviewed according to the result.

Yes. CTX-200 is suitable for liner and polyester pools; CTX-300 is used in all pool types. In a liner or polyester pool, either product can be chosen. In pools other than these two types, CTX-300 is chosen. The choice again depends on whether shock or continuous chlorine is needed.

CTX-200 does not change pH. It contains stabilised chlorine and provides a long-lasting effect. pH balance is a separate process: if pH is above 7.6, CTX-10 is used, and if below 7.2, CTX-20; both are on the CTX pro pH Regulator Granule page. Chlorine and pH are measured together.

CTX-200 Pool Shock Chlorine Granules shows only the shock chlorination product; its packs are 1, 5 and 25 kg, and the codes are the same. Continuous chlorine requires CTX-300.

Stabilised chlorine provides a long-lasting effect and protection. CTX-200 and CTX-300 are made from this chlorine. As the effect lasts longer, disinfection is monitored with regular measurement. The chlorine value is read with Pool Water Test Strips & Kits and the dose is recalculated when needed.
