The Foam Thermal Cover is a thermal pool cover made of polyethylene foam that retains the heat of the pool water. Çilek Havuz supplies Foam Thermal through quotes and as part of its projects. The 5 mm thick DUO and Luxe models are available in 4 x 8, 5 x 10 and 6 x 12 m sizes. The 6 mm Bleu/Bleu series is made per m² with a minimum order of 10 m². Ladder cut-outs are made separately.

Users and applications
The Foam Thermal Cover is chosen for pools where heat retention comes first. The 6 mm Bleu/Bleu series is specified for public swimming pools, spas and heated pools and is compatible with commercial pools. The 5 mm DUO and Luxe models are supplied in standard sizes. On pools with a ladder, CARRÉ and ROMAN cut-outs are selected separately.

Installation and compatible equipment
The foam cover is laid on the pool surface and gathered with a reel. For winding, a mobile reel suitable for foam covers is chosen from Cover Shaft & Roller Systems. A PVC strip is stitched to the short edges on the DUO finish and to all four edges on the Luxe finish; the rings on the strips are attached to the reel straps. The 6 mm Bleu/Bleu cover is supplied in one piece up to 6 m wide.
- Standard, non-standard or free-form shape is selected according to the pool shape.
- The finish type, DUO or Luxe, is set.
- If there is a ladder, a ladder cut-out is added.
- The cover is attached to the reel straps with the rings.

Maintenance checkpoints
Maintenance of the foam cover relies on keeping the surface, PVC strips and rings clean. The strips and rings are checked throughout use. When not in use, the cover is stored on the reel. The distance between the cover and the pool edge is kept short; this prevents the cover from wearing through friction.

+90 216 475 39 37The foam cover is 5 and 6 mm thick, the bubble cover 400 and 500 µm. The foam cover is polyethylene foam; the Bubble Thermal Cover is bubble polyethylene. The foam cover offers non-standard and free-form options per m²; the bubble cover comes in three standard sizes.

The difference is the number of edges with stitched PVC strips. The DUO model has PVC strips stitched to the short edges, and the Luxe model to all four edges. Both are 5 mm thick and available in 4 x 8, 5 x 10 and 6 x 12 m sizes. They are made of cross-linked polyethylene foam and are thermally welded.

The 6 mm Bleu/Bleu foam cover is specified for public swimming pools, spas and heated pools. It is Blue/Blue in colour and compatible with commercial pools. The maximum temperature is 28 °C. It is supplied in one piece up to 6 m wide; on wider pools, several pieces are joined.

The 6 mm Bleu/Bleu foam cover is priced per m² and made to a minimum of 10 m². There are three shape options: standard, non-standard and free-form. Each shape is supplied with DUO and Luxe finishes. A quote is requested for the price. The cover is cut to the pool shape and its edges are finished with PVC tape.

Yes, ladder cut-outs are made in the foam cover range. There are separate cut-outs for CARRÉ and ROMAN ladders; a separate cut-out is made for other ladders. There is also a general ladder cut-out. Ladder cut-outs are selected in addition to the cover, and a quote is requested for the price.

The foam cover is used with the mobile reels in Cover Shaft & Roller Systems. The foam model of the single-axis manual reel is for covers up to 7 x 10 m. There is a 7.5 x 20 m model for bubble and foam. For covers up to 8 x 25 m, there are 3-leg and motorised reels.
