EUROpe Pro Laminated Pool Sand Filter, Laminated Fibreglass Sand Filter.
EUROpe Pro is a sand filter with a laminated fibreglass body that filters pool water by passing it through a sand bed. Çilek Havuz supplies EUROpe Pro through quotes and as part of its projects. It has eight models in total across two series, Pro and Pro Long. The models range from Ø500-900 mm in diameter, 9.5-30 m³/h in flow and 0.19-0.64 m² in filtration area. The multiport valve is not included in the package and is chosen separately.

Users and applications
EUROpe Pro is chosen for sand filtration lines that need a flow of 9.5-30 m³/h. The diameter is set by the pump flow: Ø500 mm delivers 9.5 m³/h, Ø900 mm 30 m³/h. Pro and Pro Long share the same diameters and flows; Pro Long takes more sand. As the valve is not included in the package, a multiport valve suited to the diameter is chosen separately.

Installation and compatible equipment
EUROpe Pro is fitted between the pump discharge line and the pool return line. As the valve is not included in the package, the Multiport Valve product is chosen separately: Ø500 mm has a 1½" connection, Ø600 and Ø750 mm 2", Ø900 mm 2½". The body is filled with the quantity of sand or glass media specified for the model.
- The filter is placed on its base ring on a level, dry floor.
- A multiport valve suited to the diameter is chosen and mounted on the body.
- The body is filled with the model's quantity of sand or glass media.
- The pump line and the pool return line are connected to the valve ports.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Maintenance of EUROpe Pro is based on monitoring the pressure reading and using the valve in the correct position. If the pressure rises noticeably, the fill is washed in the backwash position, followed by a rinse. The fill is renewed when it loses its filtering capacity. The top cover, bolts and valve connections are checked from outside for leaks.
- The pressure reading is monitored; a rise indicates that washing is needed.
- The valve position is changed after the pump has been stopped.
- Sand or glass media is renewed when filtration declines.
- The cover and valve connections are checked for leaks.

+90 216 475 39 37Both share the same diameter, flow and connection; the difference is in sand capacity and weight. Pro Long takes more sand: at Ø500 mm it takes 155 kg, Pro 120 kg. At Ø900 mm, Pro Long takes 615 kg of sand and Pro 580 kg. Pro Long is heavier at every diameter.

It is not included; the multiport valve is chosen separately. The connection changes with the diameter: Ø500 mm models have a 1½" connection, Ø600 and Ø750 mm models 2", Ø900 mm models 2½". A suitable model of the Multiport Valve product is purchased in these sizes; the valve has six positions.

The diameter is chosen by the pump flow. Ø500 mm gives 9.5 m³/h and 0.19 m², Ø600 mm 15 m³/h and 0.3 m², Ø750 mm 22 m³/h and 0.44 m², Ø900 mm 30 m³/h and 0.64 m² of filtration area. The pump flow should not exceed the flow of the chosen diameter.

On the Pro models, the sand quantity is 120, 190, 360 and 580 kg; it increases with diameter from Ø500 to Ø900 mm. On the Pro Long models, 155, 240, 430 and 615 kg of sand are used for the same diameters. Glass media can also be used instead of sand and is available in the Active Glass Media product.

EUROpe Pro has a laminated fibreglass body, offers eight models as Pro and Pro Long across Ø500-900 mm, and its valve is purchased separately. Cantabric is injection moulded, offers five models across Ø400-900 mm, and the valve is included in the package on models other than Ø900 mm. The flow range is 9.5-30 m³/h for EUROpe Pro and 6-30 m³/h for Cantabric.

The body is made of laminated fibreglass with isophthalic resin; on models with a methacrylate cover, the cover is methacrylate. The maximum operating pressure is 2.5 bar. The filtration velocity is 50 m³/h/m². These limits are the same on all eight models of the Pro and Pro Long series. When choosing the pump and valve, the maximum pressure and the model flow are considered together.

The Pro models weigh 15, 20, 25 and 46 kg. The Pro Long models come in at 20, 25, 33 and 51 kg. These are net weights; sand and glass media are not included. Pro Long is heavier than Pro at every diameter. The Ø900 mm models are the heaviest.
