The Plascoat 3-step ladder provides access from the edge into the water in pools running on chlorinated or salt water. The coating keeps the steel surface out of direct contact with the water and gives additional corrosion resistance. There is a single model; the only choice is the number of steps. The three-step frame weighs 11.5 kg and suits use in indoor pools or in coastal areas.

Installation and compatible equipment
The Plascoat 3-step ladder is supplied with anchor fixtures and is secured to the anchors on the pool edge. The fixtures are ready for connecting the ladder to the equipotential terminal. To avoid scratching the coating, contact with hard tools and rubbing are avoided during installation. Once the connections are tightened, the coating is visually checked for scratches.

Maintenance checkpoints
The Plascoat coating is the layer that protects the steel, so the main point of maintenance is to avoid scratching the surface. Cleaning is done with a soft cloth and pool water. Wire brushes and abrasive products are not used. If the coating is punctured, the steel can be damaged at that point, so scratches and peeling are checked visually at regular intervals.

The ladder is supplied with anchor fixtures for connection to the equipotential terminal. The connection to the pool's equipotential line is made through these fixtures. The anchors are not ordered as a separate product; the fixtures come with the ladder. A ladder not connected to the equipotential line is not put into use. The fixtures are shipped together with the anchors.

A soft cloth and pool water are sufficient. Wire brushes, sandpaper and abrasive cleaners scratch the coating, so they are not used. If the coating is punctured at any point, the steel is damaged from that point. If scratches or peeling are noticed during cleaning, the ladder is taken out of use and checked.

A Plascoat coated AISI-304L frame carries additional corrosion protection for chlorine and salt water. For a pool with a high salt content the Plascoat series is considered, and for a chlorinated pool the plain 316L or 304L series.
