Users and applications
Intended for users who take the robot out of the water often, in large pools up to 12 x 6 m. The lift system makes it easier to take the 9.2 kg robot out of the water. The remote control communicates with the robot underwater by light signal and brings it to the water surface for removal. The filter, battery and cycles are the same as on RF 5400 iQ.

Installation and compatible equipment
RF 5600 iQ Freerider is not connected to the pool pipework; it comes with a remote control, a charging station, a 150 / 60 µm two-stage filter and a universal hook. The charging station is placed outdoors near a socket. The iAquaLink app is installed and the robot is paired. The cycle is selected from the app, and for removal the robot is brought to the surface with the remote control.

Maintenance checkpoints
The 150 µm coarse layer of the two-stage filter is emptied of leaves and sand, and the 60 µm fine layer is rinsed with water. The 23 cm suction inlet is cleared of leaves and sand. The tracks and front brush are inspected for hair and leaves. Once out of the water, the robot is placed on the charging station and charged for the next cycle.

RF 5600 iQ Freerider works with 4 cycles: floor only, full cleaning, smart cycle and waterline only. The cycle is selected in the iAquaLink app and started from the phone. One charge lasts 150 minutes and covers the full cleaning cycle. In the smart cycle, the robot sets the duration.

If cable tangling and an extension cable are to be avoided, the cordless RF 5600 iQ Freerider is chosen. On a cordless model the runtime is limited by the battery: one charge lasts 150 minutes. For the same 12 x 6 m pool, if no time limit is wanted, RE 4400 iQ Voyager with an 18 m cable is considered as a corded option.

The lithium-ion battery charges in under 5 hours. A full battery gives 150 minutes of runtime and covers the full cleaning cycle. The charging time is the same as on RF 5200 iQ and RF 5400 iQ, while their runtimes are 120 and 150 minutes. For charging, the robot is first taken out of the water.

The body measures 43 x 40 x 30 cm and weighs 9.2 kg. The same weight and dimensions also apply to RF 5200 iQ and RF 5400 iQ. The tracked body with 2 motors works with a suction width of 23 cm. For removal from the water, the lift system and remote control come only with this model.
