Cordless Pool Robot Models, definition and selection criteria
A cordless pool robot is a cleaning robot that scans the pool floor and walls and runs with no cable or hose in the pool. All of the battery-powered pool robot models on this page have a lithium-ion battery and run for 120 or 150 minutes on one charge. The pool size they cover is 8 x 4 m for OP 32 Pixel, 10 x 5 m for RF 5200 iQ FREERIDER, FreeRider and CNX-Li 52 iQ, 12 x 6 m for RF 5400 iQ and RF 5600 iQ, and 15 x 5 m for Freedom Lite. OP 32 Pixel cleans the floor and walls; the other models also cover the waterline. The filter level is 100 or 150 µm on single-stage models, and 150 / 60 µm and 3 / 180 µm on two-stage models.

OP 32 Pixel is specified for pools up to 8 x 4 m, and RF 5200 iQ FREERIDER, FreeRider and CNX-Li 52 iQ for pools up to 10 x 5 m. RF 5400 iQ and RF 5600 iQ work in pools up to 12 x 6 m, while Freedom Lite handles long, narrow pools up to 15 x 5 m.

OP 32 Pixel is sufficient for a pool up to 8 x 4 m. Up to 10 x 5 m, RF 5200 iQ FREERIDER, FreeRider or CNX-Li 52 iQ is chosen, and up to 12 x 6 m, RF 5400 iQ or RF 5600 iQ. Freedom Lite is used in a long, narrow pool of 15 x 5 m.

A two-stage filter separates debris in two layers; the coarse layer holds leaves and sand, the fine layer holds dust. On RF 5400 iQ and RF 5600 iQ the layers are 150 / 60 µm and the filter area is 1066 cm². On Freedom Lite the values are 3 / 180 µm with a filter area of 900 cm².

OP 32 Pixel cleans the floor and walls. Freedom Lite, RF 5200 iQ FREERIDER, CNX-Li 52 iQ, RF 5400 iQ and RF 5600 iQ also clean the waterline in addition to the floor and walls. These models are suitable for ceramic tile, liner, polyester, PVC and reinforced concrete surfaces.

The robot weighs 5.8 kg for OP 32 Pixel, 7.5 kg for Freedom Lite and 9.2 kg for the other models. RF 5600 iQ comes with a remote control and lift system; the robot is brought to the water surface with the remote and taken out at the edge.
