Oslo Bobbin-Wound Filter, Filament-Wound Pool Filter.

The difference lies in the bed height and the velocity options. Oslo has a 1.2 m filter bed, Praga a 1 m bed. Oslo is sold only at 30 and 40 m³/h/m², while Praga also covers velocities of 20 and 50 m³/h/m². Both come in diameters of Ø1050-2200 mm and in the 2.5 or 4 bar class.

Only the maximum operating pressure differs, and each carries its own code. On the Ø1050 mm body at 30 m³/h/m², the 2.5 bar code is 04611 and the 4 bar code is 05168. Filter area, flow rate and connection diameter are the same in both versions. If the line pressure exceeds 2.5 bar, the 4 bar version is chosen.

The Oslo Ø1600 mm filter has an area of 2.01 m². At 30 m³/h/m² it delivers 60 m³/h with a Ø110 mm connection. At 40 m³/h/m² the flow rate becomes 80 m³/h and the connection increases to Ø140 mm. Both velocity classes are available in 2.5 bar and 4 bar versions.

A side manhole is recommended. When a nozzle plate system is chosen, a manhole is advised so that the media can be emptied easily. The body already has a Ø400 mm filter lid on top, through which the media is filled. The media and the valve manifold system are supplied separately from the package. The body is made of isophthalic polyester and fibreglass by the filament winding method. A pressure gauge, an air bleed valve and a drain valve are included. The valve manifold system and the filter media do not come with the package. If glass media is to be used, see the Active Glass Media product. The filter lid on top is Ø400 mm and the bed height is 1.2 m.

The highest flow rate is 152 m³/h, on the Ø2200 mm body at 40 m³/h/m². The same body delivers 114 m³/h at 30 m³/h/m². The Ø2000 mm body delivers 94 and 125 m³/h. The Ø2200 mm model at velocity 40 has a Ø160 mm connection and a filter area of 3.80 m².
