Çilek Havuz supplies ARCO through quotes and as part of its projects. It works in pools up to 30 m long and comes with a 30 m cable. The robot weighs 9 kg and moves on tracks. Debris is collected in a twin bag filter that opens from below. The robot is operated with a Bluetooth remote control.

Users and applications
Used in public pools up to 30 m long, such as municipal swimming pools, main hotel pools and sports complexes. The robot does not connect to a phone; the maintenance team starts it with the Bluetooth remote and steers it by hand when needed. An infrared sensor and a gyroscope keep the robot on course in a long pool. Debris is collected in a twin bag filter that opens from below.

Installation and compatible equipment
The AstralPool ARCO Industrial Pool Robot is brought to the poolside on its wheeled trolley. The control unit is plugged into a socket with residual current protection and stands where water cannot reach it. The 30 m cable reaches the far corner of the pool even when the unit is set back. Operation is started or delayed with the Bluetooth remote. No connection to the pipework is needed.

Maintenance checkpoints
The twin bag filter opens from underneath the robot, so the debris chamber is emptied without turning the robot over. The bags are washed with a pressure hose and dried in the shade. Tracks and brushes are inspected regularly for wear. After use, the cable is wound flat onto the hanger on the trolley; a twisted cable pulls the robot off course.

The difference is in pool length, cable and robot size. ARCO works in pools up to 30 m with a 30 m cable and weighs 9 kg. The AstralPool ARCOMAX Industrial Pool Robot works in pools up to 50 m with a 40 m cable and weighs 18 kg. For an Olympic-size pool, ARCOMAX is chosen.

The AstralPool ARCO Industrial Pool Robot is operated with a Bluetooth remote control and does not use a phone app. From the remote, a cycle is started, delayed to a later time or set to turbo mode. When needed, the robot is steered to a particular spot with the remote. If remote monitoring by phone is wanted, the TRX series robots are considered.

The AstralPool ARCO Industrial Pool Robot finds its way with an infrared sensor and a gyroscope. The sensor detects when it approaches a wall or an obstacle. The gyroscope helps the robot stay on a straight course. As a twisted cable pulls the robot sideways, the cable is laid out straight before each run and wound flat onto the hanger after use.

The bag filter opens from underneath the robot and the two bags are taken out separately. This is why the AstralPool ARCO Industrial Pool Robot is emptied without being turned over. The bags are washed with a pressure hose, dried in the shade and refitted. In periods with heavy leaf fall, the bags are checked after every cycle.

The choice is made by pool length and the way the robot is controlled. The AstralPool ARCO Industrial Pool Robot works in pools up to 30 m with a remote control. The Zodiac TRX 8700 iQ Commercial Pool Robot works in pools up to 25 m and is monitored by phone through the iAquaLink app. If the pool is longer than 25 m, ARCO is chosen.
