Commercial Pool Robot Models, definition and selection criteria
A commercial pool robot is a corded cleaning machine that cleans the floor and walls of hotel, residential complex, municipal and sports facility pools and holds the debris in its own filter. The debris does not go to the facility's filtration line; it is emptied from the canister or bag when the robot is taken out of the water. This page covers four models: TRX 8500 iQ works in pools up to 20 m with a 25 m cable, TRX 8700 iQ in pools up to 25 m with a 30 m cable, ARCO in pools up to 30 m with a 30 m cable, and ARCOMAX in pools up to 50 m with a 40 m cable. The TRX series is monitored remotely through a phone app; ARCO and ARCOMAX are operated with a Bluetooth remote control.

Selection
The first measurement in the selection is the longest side of the pool, followed by whether the cable reaches the corner farthest from the power supply and the robot's weight of between 9 and 18 kg. Cordless models are covered separately on the cordless pool robots page.

Four values to check before you choose
Each card explains a value taken from the technical tables of the products in this category and what it means for the selection.
Maximum pool length
20-50m
Choosing the robot by pool length
TRX 8500 iQ works in pools up to 20 m long, TRX 8700 iQ up to 25 m, ARCO up to 30 m and ARCOMAX up to 50 m. The first model that covers the longest side of the pool is chosen; ARCOMAX is used for a 50 m Olympic pool.

25-40m
Cable reach to the farthest corner
Cable length is 25 m on TRX 8500 iQ, 30 m on TRX 8700 iQ and ARCO, and 40 m on ARCOMAX. The distance between the point where the power supply will stand at the pool edge and the farthest corner is compared with this value.

9-18kg
Robot weight
ARCO weighs 9 kg, TRX 8500 iQ 11 kg, TRX 8700 iQ 13 kg and ARCOMAX 18 kg. Because the robot is taken out of the water and its filter emptied after each run, weight is a factor in daily maintenance; ARCO is moved to the pool edge on its trolley.

150/60µm
Filter for fine dust
TRX 8700 iQ carries a 150 / 60 µm two-stage filter; the 150 µm layer holds leaves and sand, the 60 µm layer holds fine dust. On ARCO and ARCOMAX debris collects in a bottom-opening double bag filter, and on TRX 8500 iQ in a rigid canister.

+90 216 475 39 37For a hotel pool up to 20 m long, TRX 8500 iQ is sufficient; the robot comes with a 25 m cable and weighs 11 kg. If the pool is longer than 20 m and up to 25 m, TRX 8700 iQ is chosen. Both models are monitored remotely through a phone app.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
In a 25 m semi-Olympic pool, TRX 8700 iQ or ARCO is used. TRX 8700 iQ comes with a 30 m cable and a 150 / 60 µm two-stage filter and is monitored through the app. ARCO works in pools up to 30 m with a 30 m cable and is operated with a remote control.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
ARCOMAX is chosen for a 50 m Olympic pool; the robot works in pools up to 50 m long with a 40 m cable and weighs 18 kg. It finds its direction with an infrared sensor, gyroscope and compass, so it travels straight along the long lane. Debris collects in a bottom-opening double bag filter.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
TRX 8500 iQ and TRX 8700 iQ are paired with a phone app; the cleaning cycle is started from the app and the robot's status is shown on screen. ARCO and ARCOMAX are operated with a Bluetooth remote control and can be steered by hand to a specific spot when needed. The choice depends on how the facility staff work.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
The robots do not send debris to the facility's filtration line; they hold it in their own filters. On TRX 8500 iQ debris stays in a rigid canister, and on TRX 8700 iQ it is held in a 150 / 60 µm two-stage filter. On ARCO and ARCOMAX debris collects in a bottom-opening double bag filter and is emptied after the robot is taken out of the water.

The robots on this page are corded commercial models for hotel, municipal and sports facility pools. Cordless models are listed separately on the cordless pool robots page. If you share your pool length and how the pool is used, we will determine the right model together.
