Users and applications
Used in semi-Olympic swimming pools up to 25 m long, main hotel pools and sports club pools. In these pools, fine dust collects along the lane floors and in the wall corners. In the two-stage filter, the 150 µm layer holds leaves and sand and the 60 µm layer fine dust. The robot is run while the facility is closed and monitored from the app.

Installation and compatible equipment
No pipework connection is needed for the Zodiac TRX 8700 iQ Commercial Pool Robot. The power supply is plugged into a socket with residual current protection. The 30 m cable reaches the farthest corner even when the power supply is placed away from the pool. The robot is lowered into the water from the middle of the long side of the pool. For remote monitoring, it is paired with iAquaLink.

Maintenance checkpoints
The 150 µm layer of the two-stage filter is emptied of coarse debris, and the 60 µm layer is rinsed with pressurised water. When the fine layer clogs, the robot's suction drops. The tracks and brushes are inspected monthly. If the cable coils, it is uncoiled and left on flat ground. In winter the robot is rinsed and stored in the shade.
