// 02 · Use
Users and applications
Intended for villa and residential complex owners who want to open their outdoor pool early in spring and close it late in autumn. The series is for pools of up to 120 m³ and operates until the outdoor air drops to -5 °C. For a pool heated continuously through the winter, AstralPool ProElyo Touch Heat Pump, which operates down to -20 °C, is chosen. As the app connection is built into the unit, heating is monitored from a phone.
- Outdoor villa and garden pools up to 120 m³
- Pools whose season is extended in spring and autumn
- Single-phase residential supplies (Eco Elyo-13, 15, 20, 24, 30)
- Residential complexes with a three-phase supply (20T, 24T, 30T)
// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
The unit is installed in the open air on anti-vibration mounts, on a level base where the airflow is not obstructed. It is connected to the pool line after the filter with by-pass valves; the flow rate is between 5 and 11 m³/h depending on the model. Single-phase and three-phase pairs deliver the same output, and the choice is made according to the supply at the panel. The cable section is 3 x 2.5 mm² for Eco Elyo-13 and 3 x 6 mm² for Eco Elyo-30.
- A firm base with clear air inlet and outlet is chosen.
- The mounts are placed and the condensate drain is connected.
- The by-pass valves are fitted at the filter outlet and the PVC Ø50 unions are connected.
- The supply line is run according to the phase and cable section.
- The app connection is set up and the target temperature is set.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
At the start of the season the evaporator coil is cleaned of leaves and dust, and the condensate drain is kept clear. The pool water chemistry is kept in balance; the titanium heat exchanger is compatible with salt chlorination systems. At the end of the season the water connections are drained and the unit is covered with the winter cover supplied with the product. The operating limit is an outdoor air temperature of -5 °C.
- The coil is cleaned with a soft brush at the start of the season.
- The condensate drain is checked for blockage.
- The water line is drained at the end of the season.
- The winter cover is fitted and the unit is protected against frost.

+90 216 475 39 37AstralPool Eco Elyo is offered for pools of up to 120 m³. The model is chosen from output classes delivering a maximum of 13, 15, 20, 24 and 31 kW at 26 °C air. The choice is determined by the pool volume, cover use, the regional climate and the months the pool stays open. As the volume approaches the limit, a larger model is considered.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
Eco Elyo heats until the outdoor air drops to -5 °C; it does not operate below this limit and is offered for season extension. The pool water is heated in spring and autumn. For continuous heating in the cold winter months, AstralPool ProElyo Touch Heat Pump is chosen; this model also operates when the outdoor air drops to -20 °C and is used all year round.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
Both models deliver the same heating output: a maximum of 31 kW at 26 °C air and a maximum of 24 kW at 15 °C air. Eco Elyo-30 runs on 220 - 240 V single-phase and draws a maximum of 30 A. Eco Elyo-30T runs on 380 - 400 V three-phase and draws a maximum of 13 A. The choice is determined by the electrical supply at the panel.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
The electricity used varies with the heat Eco Elyo delivers; the inverter compressor lowers its output as demand falls. At 26 °C air, Eco Elyo-13 draws between 0.1 and 2 kW of electricity while delivering 2.4 to 13 kW of heat. This ratio is stated as the COP and is between 6.5 and 16.4 on this model.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
For control from a phone, the app connection is built into Eco Elyo and no additional gateway is needed. The connection is set up by joining the unit to the wireless network. On AstralPool ProElyo Touch the same connection is set up with an optional gateway. For this reason, it is checked beforehand that the wireless signal is sufficient where the unit is installed.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
Eco Elyo comes with a winter cover, a condensate drain kit, two PVC Ø50 unions and four anti-vibration mounts. By-pass valves, a supply cable and a separate fuse at the panel are provided separately during installation. The cable section varies by model; 3 x 2.5 mm² is recommended for Eco Elyo-13 and 3 x 6 mm² for Eco Elyo-30.
Çilek Havuz Corporate
Sound pressure measured at 10 metres is between 20 and 33 dBA on Eco Elyo-13 and between 33 and 42 dBA on Eco Elyo-30 and 30T. The lower end of the range reflects the inverter compressor running at low speed. Sound power is between 51 and 75 dBA depending on the model and is higher on the larger model.
